தமிழ் சினிமாவில் ஹாரர், சயின்ஸ் பிக்ஷன், சூப்பர் நேச்சுரல், ஃபேண்டஸி, திரில்லர் – இவ்வளவு ஜானர்களையும் ஒரே கதையில் ஒருங்கிணைக்கும் துணிச்சலான முயற்சியாக உருவாகியுள்ளது ‘நோவா: பேஸ் ஒன் – தி அரைவல்’. விளம்பர உலகில் தனக்கென தனித்துவமான கையொப்பம் பதித்த இயக்குநர் மைலோ, இந்த திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் வெள்ளித்திரையில் இயக்குநராக அறிமுகமாகிறார்.
Royal Fortuna Creations தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகும் இப்படம், முன்பு Partner மூலம் கவனம் பெற்ற ஆதி – ஹன்சிகா mothvaani கூட்டணிக்குப் பிறகு தயாராகும் அடுத்த முயற்சி என்பதும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

ரைசாவின் கம்பேக்… பல மொழி நட்சத்திரங்கள் இணையும் திரைக்கதை
கதையின் மையமாக ரைசா வில்சன் நடிக்கிறார். பியார் பிரேமா காதல் மூலம் ரசிகர்களிடம் தனி வரவேற்பைப் பெற்ற அவர், இரண்டாண்டுகளுக்கு பிறகு இந்த படத்தின் மூலம் வித்தியாசமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் மீண்டும் வருகிறார்.

அவருடன் துருவா, அதவிர்த் செட்டி,  கிருத்திகா பிஷ்வாஷ், Joe John Chacko, Senthrayan உள்ளிட்டோர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் தோன்றுகின்றனர். பிரபல மலையாள வில்லன் Shine Tom Chackoவின் தம்பியான ஜோ ஜான் சாக்கோ, இந்த படத்தின் மூலம் தமிழில் அறிமுகமாகிறார் என்பதும் படத்துக்கு கூடுதல் கவனம் சேர்க்கிறது.

‘நோவா’ திரைப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு முழுவதும் கேரளாவின் மேற்கு தொடர்ச்சி மலைப்பகுதிகளில் நடைபெற்றுள்ளது. இயற்கையின் மர்மமூட்டும் சூழலை கதையின் முக்கிய கூறாக மாற்றியுள்ள இந்த முயற்சி, திரையில் வித்தியாசமான காட்சியமைப்பை வழங்கும் என படக்குழு நம்பிக்கை தெரிவிக்கிறது.

Raiza Wilson’s Comeback & Multi-Lingual Cast

The film features in the lead role. Known for her performance in , Raiza makes her comeback after a two-year gap with this project, playing a unique and challenging character.

The ensemble cast also includes , , , , and in pivotal roles. Notably, Joe John Chacko — brother of popular Malayalam actor — makes his Tamil debut with this film.

Cinematography is handled by Christo Bob, who previously worked with . The music is composed by Yuvaraj Chandran, who has earlier worked under . This film marks their debut as independent cinematographer and music composer respectively.

Editing is done by Prem P, art direction by Devendran, and action choreography by Rambo Vimal.

Shot Entirely in Kerala – Telugu Release Confirmed

The entire film has been shot in the Western Ghats region of Kerala, using the natural landscape as a key visual and narrative element to enhance the mysterious tone of the story.

Impressed by the film, a leading company has acquired the Telugu theatrical rights. Telugu dubbing work is currently in progress, paving the way for a wider release beyond Tamil audiences.
