சமூகத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு தருணத்தையும் காட்சியாக பதிவு செய்து மக்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்க்கும் கேமரா பத்திரிகையாளர்களின் பங்களிப்பு குறித்து விழாவில் பேசப்பட்ட உரைகள், இந்த அமைப்பின் அவசியத்தையும் எதிர்காலப் பயணத்தையும் தெளிவாக சுட்டிக்காட்டின.

திரையுலகின் ஆதரவு

விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்ட விஜய் சேதுபதி தனது வாழ்த்துரையில்,

“ஒரு சங்கம் உருவாகுவது பாதுகாப்பிற்கும், உரிமை மீட்பிற்குமான அடையாளம். நாம் தனியாக இல்லை, ஒன்றிணைந்திருக்கிறோம் என்ற நம்பிக்கையை இது அளிக்கிறது,” என்று குறிப்பிட்டார். கேமரா பத்திரிகையாளர்கள் தங்கள் உரிமைகளை ஒற்றுமையுடன் காக்க வேண்டும் என்றார்.

காளி வெங்கட் பேசுகையில், “சினிமாவின் ஆரம்ப ஆதாரம் கேமராதான். அந்த துறையை பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தும் சங்கம் உருவாகுவது பெருமைக்குரியது,” என பாராட்டினார்.

“இந்த கேமராக்கள் இல்லையென்றால் இந்த கூல் சுரேஷ் இல்லை,” என்று நகைச்சுவையுடன் உரையாற்றிய , பத்திரிகையாளர்களின் ஆதரவே கலைஞர்களின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு காரணம் என நன்றியுரை தெரிவித்தார்.

பிரஜன் தனது உரையில், “உறுப்பினர் எண்ணிக்கை அல்ல, சங்கத்தின் வலிமையும் நோக்கும் முக்கியம்,” என வலியுறுத்தினார்.

The Camera Journalists’ Association, formed as a unified platform to safeguard the rights, safety, and professional recognition of camera journalists, officially introduced its new office-bearers at a grand function held in Chennai on 25.02.2026 evening.

The event highlighted the vital role played by camera journalists—often the unsung frontline contributors of the media industry—who visually document and deliver every significant moment to the public.

Support from the Film Industry
Actor Vijay Sethupathi, in his address, stated:
“The formation of an association is always a symbol of protection and unity. It assures us that we are not alone but stand together to reclaim and safeguard our rights.” He emphasized the importance of solidarity among camera journalists.
Actor Kaali Venkat remarked, “The foundation of cinema is the camera. It is truly commendable that an association representing such a prestigious field has been formed.”
In his characteristic style, Cool Suresh said, “Without these cameras, there is no Cool Suresh,” expressing gratitude to journalists for their role in shaping the growth of film personalities.

Actor S. V. Shekher noted that the strength and purpose of an association matter more than the number of members, and encouraged the team to grow with integrity and good intentions.
