டெல்லியில் நடைபெற்ற அகில இந்திய கான்பரன்சில் பங்கேற்ற நடிகர் செளந்தரராஜா
தமிழ் சினிமாவில் நாயகனாகவும் இணைநாயகனாகவும் கவனம் பெற்ற நடிகர் செளந்தரராஜா, தன்னுடைய மண்ணுக்கும் மக்களுக்கும் அறக்கட்டளை மூலம் கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளாக இயற்கை, சுற்றுச்சூழல் மற்றும் விவசாயம் தொடர்பான பணிகளில் தீவிரமாக ஈடுபட்டு வருகிறார். மரங்கள் நடுதல், ஏரி மற்றும் குளங்களை தூர்வாருதல், தூய்மை பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளுதல், இயற்கை விவசாயிகளை ஊக்குவித்தல் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு சமூக சேவைகளை தொடர்ந்து செய்து வருகிறார்.
இதன் தொடர்ச்சியாக, டெல்லியில் நடைபெற்ற Vishwa Yuvak Kendra அமைப்பு நடத்திய NGO–CSR கான்பரன்சில் தமிழ்நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த நடிகர் செளந்தரராஜா மூன்று நாட்கள் பங்கேற்றார். இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் இந்தியாவின் பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களைச் சேர்ந்த என்.ஜி.ஓ. அமைப்புகள் கலந்து கொண்டன.
மேலும், சுற்றுச்சூழல் தொடர்பான கருத்தரங்குகள் மற்றும் பயிற்சி நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் அமைச்சர், பன்னாட்டு நிறுவனங்களின் தலைமை நிர்வாக அதிகாரிகள் (CEO) மற்றும் தொழில் வல்லுநர்கள் உள்ளிட்ட பலரும் பங்கேற்றனர். எதிர்கால சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பு மற்றும் இயற்கை விவசாயம் குறித்த கருத்தரங்கிலும் நடிகர் செளந்தரராஜா கலந்துகொண்டார்.
இந்திய அரசின் பல்வேறு திட்டங்கள் குறித்து அறிந்து கொள்ளவும், நிறுவனங்களின் சமூகப் பொறுப்பு (CSR) நிதியை சமூக நலத்திட்டங்களுக்கு சிறப்பாக பயன்படுத்துவது குறித்து தெரிந்து கொள்ளவும் அவர் இந்த கான்பரன்சில் பங்கேற்றதாக தெரிவித்தார்.
தன்னுடைய சொந்த ஊரான மதுரை மாவட்டம் உசிலம்பட்டியில் உள்ள கால்வாய்களை தூர்வாரும் பணிகளை முன்னெடுத்து செயல்படுத்த திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதால், அதற்கான அனுபவம் மற்றும் வழிகாட்டுதலை பெறவும் இந்த நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்றதாக அவர் கூறினார்.
மேலும், “ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிலிருந்தும் குறைந்தது ஒருவர் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பு பணிகளில் ஈடுபட முன் வர வேண்டும்” என்றும் நடிகர் செளந்தரராஜா வலியுறுத்தினார்.
Actor Participates in All India Conference Held in Delhi
Actor Soundararaja, who has gained recognition in Tamil cinema as both a lead and supporting actor, has been actively involved over the past few years in environmental and agricultural initiatives through his foundation. He has consistently undertaken various social service activities, including tree plantation drives, desilting of lakes and ponds, cleanliness campaigns, and encouraging natural farming practices.
Continuing these efforts, Soundararaja participated for three days in the NGO–CSR Conference organized by in . The conference saw participation from NGOs representing various states across India.
The event also featured seminars and training sessions on environmental issues, attended by ministers, CEOs of multinational corporations, and industry experts. Soundararaja took part in discussions focused on future environmental protection and natural farming initiatives.
He stated that he attended the conference to gain insights into various schemes of the Government of India and to better understand how Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds can be effectively utilized for social welfare projects.
He further mentioned that he plans to initiate desilting work for canals in his native region of Usilampatti in Madurai district and attended the conference to gain experience and guidance for implementing the project.
Additionally, Soundararaja emphasized that “at least one person from every household should come forward to actively participate in environmental protection activities.”
