Ankush Bahuguna was mistaken to be a sales representative, reveals the latest episode of Amazon miniTV’s By Invite Only
Mumbai, 2nd June 2023 – Amazon miniTV’s (Amazon’s free video streaming service) Gen Z talk show, “By Invite Only’s,” most recent edition was crammed with unlimited entertainment as the eminent Instagram content creators, Ankush Bahuguna and Dolly Singh added their unique blend of hilarity and melodrama, decoding their off-screen lives. Oscillating between their fame metamorphosis, moments of fantraction & engrossing gossip, the duo kept audiences gripped, revealing some unforgettable fan moments & transitioning cities from Delhi to Mumbai.
While Ankush wanted an un-jinxed move to Mumbai, Dolly awaits a film offer, before the Delhi-Mumbai switch. When Renil posed a question as to the uniqueness in the content paradigm of Delhi and Mumbai creators, Dolly remarked, “Personally I feel, Mumbai creators are more chilled out. I think we Delhites are more anxious at all times. But I find them to be a little more sorted, and balanced in life. I get that vibe from them. Every time I come to Mumbai, I try to take that with me. I also want to be calm in my life.”
Echoing Dolly’s notion, Ankush further added to the silver lining of limitless prospects that Mumbai offers. “Delhites are very hungry that no opportunities should slip by. That’s because there aren’t many opportunities in Delhi. When you live in Bombay, that’s the perception I get, they see all of these happening on a daily basis. So, they are not easily disturbed. They feel that this opportunity was lost, so next will come,” he said.
Amidst all the melodrama, Renil striked a conversation on fandom and what it felt like to be in the perpetual spotlight. Ankush recalled a failed fan moment-turned-humbling experience, while shopping at H&M and was thoroughly puzzled by it. “This happened right before the pandemic when I had got 100K recently, so I felt people are recognising me, people are looking at me. I was shopping, and this one woman was constantly looking at me. I saw her approaching. And I was waiting that she’ll come and talk. ‘Of course you can take a picture.’ Instead she asked, ‘how much is this for?’ I said, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t work here,” Ankush confessed.
By Invite Only is produced by The Zoom Studios and the episode is now streaming on Amazon miniTV for free, available within Amazon’s shopping app and Fire TV.
