“It really brought back the warmth I grew up with”: Shruti Sharma shares her experience shooting for Amazon MX Player’s Mitti in her hometown Lucknow

For Shruti Sharma, who plays a steady, comforting Kratika, the experience hit closer to home than expected. She shared, “We shot the whole show in Lucknow, which also happens to be my hometown. Because of Mitti, I got to spend an entire month there — with my cousins, my uncle, and my grandmother. That’s not something I get to do often, and it felt like such a gift during shoot days. I got to relive all those little joys — playing Ludo, badminton, just sitting together and chatting. It really brought back the warmth I grew up with.”
