“வடம்” இசை வெளியீடு: “கதை உள்ள கமர்சியல் படம் இது” – நடிகர் விமல் நம்பிக்கை
மாசாணி பிக்சர்ஸ் நிறுவனம் சார்பில் தயாரிப்பாளர் ஆர். ராஜசேகர் தயாரிப்பில், இயக்குநர் கேந்திரன். வி இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘வடம்’ திரைப்படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழா சென்னை நகரில் உற்சாகமான சூழலில் நடைபெற்றது. கிராமிய வீர விளையாட்டான வடமஞ்சு விரட்டு பின்னணியில் உருவாகியுள்ள இந்தப் படத்தில் விமல், , சனஸ்கா ஸ்ரீ, முனீஸ்காந்த், பால சரவணன், ‘ஆடுகளம்’ நரேன் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ளனர். இசையமைத்துள்ள இப்படம் மார்ச் 6ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.
“மாட்டை மையமாக கொண்ட கதை – இது எங்களுக்குப் பாக்கியம்”
விழாவில் பேசிய தயாரிப்பாளர் ராஜசேகர், “நான் கிராமத்தில் இருந்து வந்தவன். மாட்டுடன் நமக்கு உள்ள தொடர்பு சாதாரணமல்ல. 18 ஆண்டுகள் வாழ்ந்து மனிதனுக்குப் பலன் அளிக்கும் மாட்டைப் பற்றி படம் எடுப்பது பாக்கியம் என கருதுகிறேன். இயக்குநர் கூறிய கதையை அவர் திரையில் அப்படியே கொண்டு வந்திருக்கிறார்,” எனக் குறிப்பிட்டார். புதிய தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனம் என்றாலும், தொழில்நுட்பக் குழுவின் முழு ஒத்துழைப்பும் கிடைத்ததாக அவர் நன்றியுடன் தெரிவித்தார்.
“இந்தக் கதாபாத்திரம் என் கனவு”
நடிகர் முனீஸ்காந்த், “இப்படத்தில் எனக்கு முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரம் கிடைத்துள்ளது. நான் சினிமாவில் நடிக்க ஆசைப்படும் வகை கேரக்டர் இது. ‘பாண்டி முனி’ பாடல் மிகப்பெரிய ‘வைப்’ ஆக இருக்கும்,” என்றார்.
“கதை சொன்ன தருணமே இது ஹிட் என நம்பிக்கை”
இயக்குநர் கேந்திரன் பேசுகையில், “கதை முழுவதையும் முதலில் இமான் அவர்களிடம் சொன்னேன். அவர் உடனே இசையமைக்க சம்மதித்ததும் படம் வெற்றி பெறும் என நம்பிக்கை வந்தது. விமலும், நட்டியும் கதையை நம்பி இணைந்தது படத்திற்கு பெரிய பலம்,” என்றார். படத்தில் இடம்பெறும் காளை ‘பாண்டி முனி’ பற்றியும் அவர் நன்றியுடன் நினைவுகூர்ந்தார்.
“பெண்களுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கும் பாடல் அவசியம்”
இசையமைப்பாளர் டி. இமான், “இன்றைய சூழலில் ஹீரோயினுக்கு முழு பாடல் வழங்குவது குறைந்துவிட்டது. இந்தப் படத்தில் அந்த வாய்ப்பை உருவாக்கிய இயக்குநருக்கு நன்றி. தயாரிப்பாளர் எந்தவிதக் கஞ்சத்தனமும் இல்லாமல் படத்தை செம்மையாக உருவாக்கியுள்ளார்,” என்றார்.
“சிக்கலான திரைக்கதை – சிறப்பான காட்சிப்படுத்தல்”
நட்டி நட்ராஜ், “திரைக்கதை சிக்கலானது. அதை காட்சிப்படுத்துவது கடினம். ஆனால் இயக்குநர் நம்பிக்கையுடன் செய்திருக்கிறார். விமலின் இயல்பான நடிப்பு இப்படத்திற்கு பலம்,” என்றார். குறிப்பாக நீதிமன்றக் களத்தில் இடம்பெறும் சண்டைக் காட்சி ரசிகர்களை கவரும் என தெரிவித்தார்.
“எனக்கு மாஸ் ஹீரோ தேவையில்லை”
விமல் தனது உரையில், “எனக்கு மாஸ் ஹீரோ எல்லாம் வேண்டாம். நல்ல மனசுள்ள ஹீரோவாக இருந்தால் போதும். தயாரிப்பாளர் நம்பிக்கையுடன் பணம் செலவிடுகிறார்; அவருக்கு லாபம் கிடைத்தால் அதுவே எனக்கு வெற்றி,” என்றார்.

The audio launch of Vadam, produced by R. Rajasekar under the Masani Pictures banner and directed by Kendhiran V, was held in Chennai amid much enthusiasm. “A Story Centered on Cattle – It’s a Blessing for Us”
Speaking at the event, producer Rajasekar said, “I come from a village background. Cattle are deeply connected to our lives. A cow lives around 18 years, serving mankind in many ways. Making a film centered on such an animal is a blessing for us. The director has brought to screen exactly the story he narrated to us.” He also thanked the entire cast and crew for their wholehearted support despite the banner being new.

Actor Munishkanth expressed gratitude to the director for giving him an important role. “The character I play in this film is something I always wished to portray in cinema. The ‘Paandi Muni’ song will have a massive vibe,” he said.
“The Moment Imman Agreed, I Felt the Film Would Be a Hit”
Director Kendhiran shared that he first narrated the completed script to D. Imman. “The moment he agreed to compose music, I felt confident that the film would succeed. Vimal and Natti trusting the story and coming on board added great strength to the project,” he said, also thanking the bull ‘Paandi Muni,’ which plays a significant part in the film.
“We Need Songs That Give Importance to Women”
Composer D. Imman noted, “In today’s scenario, it has become rare to see full-fledged solo songs for heroines. I thank the director for creating space for such a song in this film. The producer has been generous and committed to quality throughout.”
“A Complex Screenplay, Well Executed”
Natti Nataraj remarked that the screenplay was intricate and challenging to visualize. “But the director has handled it confidently. Vimal’s natural performance is a major strength. The courtroom fight sequence, in particular, will impress audiences,” he added.
“I Don’t Need to Be a Mass Hero”
Vimal stated, “I don’t need to be a mass hero. It is enough if I am seen as a good-hearted hero. If the producer, who has trusted and invested in me, earns a reasonable profit, that itself is a success for me.”
He also shared an incident highlighting producer Rajasekar’s humanity. During the shoot, when comedian passed away, the producer organized a condolence meeting on set, distributed sarees to villagers, and arranged for the planting of saplings in his memory — a gesture that deeply moved the team.
Blending rural emotions, family bonds, and social themes, Vadam promises to be a “commercial film with a strong story,” as Vimal described it. The audience verdict will be known when the film releases in theatres worldwide on March 6.
