இயக்குநரும் நடிகருமான விக்னேஷ் கார்த்திக் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகும் இந்த படத்தில் பிரியா பவானி சங்கர், எம். எஸ். பாஸ்கர், தம்பி ராமையா, அஸ்வின் குமார், ஆதித்யா பாஸ்கர், ரக்சன், பவானி ஸ்ரீ, பிரிகிடா சகா, சஞ்சனா திவாரி, ‘ஆதித்யா’ கதிர், விஜய் டிவி அமர் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

“முதல் பாகம் நான்கு கதைகள் கொண்ட ஆந்தாலஜி படம். இரண்டாம் பாகத்தில் மூன்று கதைகள் இருக்கும். முதல் பாகத்தில் இருந்த கதை சொல்லும் வடிவம் இப்போதும் தொடர்கிறது. ஆனால் இந்த முறை இன்னும் எதிர்பாராத திருப்பங்களுடன், சுவாரஸ்யமாக சொல்லியிருக்கிறோம். நானே இந்த படத்திலும் நடித்துள்ளேன். இது முழுக்க அனைவரும் ரசிக்கக் கூடிய ஃபேமிலி என்டர்டெய்னர்” என்று கூறினார்.

“முதல் பாகத்தின் ட்ரெய்லர் வந்தபோது சில எதிர்மறை விமர்சனங்கள் இருந்தது. ஆனால் படம் வெளியானதும் அதுவே படத்தின் வெற்றிக்கு உதவியது. முதல் பாகம் பெரியவர்களுக்கான படமாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் ‘ஹாட் ஸ்பாட் 2much’ அனைத்து வயதினரும், குறிப்பாக ஜென் Z இளைஞர்கள் குடும்பத்துடன் தியேட்டருக்கு வந்து ரசிக்கும் படமாக உருவாகியுள்ளது. சமூக கருத்துகளும் இருக்கிறது, அதே நேரத்தில் ஜாலியாகவும் சொல்லியிருக்கிறோம். நடிகர்கள், திரைக்கதை எல்லாமே முதல் பாகத்தை விட இரண்டு மடங்கு மேம்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனால்தான் விஷ்ணு விஷால் ஸ்டுடியோஸ் இந்த படத்தை வழங்க முன்வந்தது” என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

Produced by KJB Talkies, the first look of ‘Hot Spot 2much’ has been unveiled, and the film is being described as a family entertainer with unexpected and interesting twists, surpassing the first part.
Along with the first look of ‘Hot Spot 2much’, the film team has also released a unique and eye-catching introduction video, officially announcing the cast and crew members involved in the project.
Directed by Vignesh Karthik, who also plays an acting role in the film, ‘Hot Spot 2much’ features Priya Bhavani Shankar, MS Bhaskar, Thambi Ramaiah, Ashwin Kumar, Adithya Bhaskar, Raksan, Bhavani Sree, Brigida Saga, Sanjana Tiwari, ‘Adithya’ Kathir, Vijay TV Amar, and several others in prominent roles.
The cinematography of the film has been handled jointly by Jagadish Ravi and Joseph Paul, while Satheesh Raghunathan has composed the music. U. Muthaiyan has taken care of the editing, and Shanmugam has served as the art director. The film has been produced by producer and actor K.J. Balamani Marban under the banner of KJB Talkies. ‘Hot Spot 2much’ is being presented by Vishnu Vishal Studios, owned by actor Vishnu Vishal.
Speaking about the film, director Vignesh Karthik said:
“The first part of ‘Hot Spot’ was an anthology film with four stories. The second part will feature three stories. The narrative style of a director narrating stories to a producer continues in this film as well, but this time the three stories are presented with unexpected and engaging twists. I have also acted in this film. ‘Hot Spot 2much’ has been made as a family entertainer that everyone can enjoy. Along with entertainment, the film equally addresses socially relevant themes.”
Producer and actor K.J. Balamani Marban, speaking about the film, said:
“When the trailer of the first part was released, the film faced negative criticism. However, once the film was released, those criticisms actually contributed to its success. The first part was aimed at a mature audience, but the second part has been made as a mass-friendly family entertainer that all sections of the audience can enjoy—especially Gen Z viewers, who can come to theatres with their families. While the socially relevant themes from the first part continue in this sequel, they are presented in a lighter and more entertaining manner. Compared to the first part, the contribution of star actors and the strength of the screenplay have doubled. This is the reason Vishnu Vishal Studios decided to present ‘Hot Spot 2much’. After watching the first part, Vishnu Vishal appreciated it, and after listening to the complete story of the second part, he felt it was even better and proudly agreed to present the film under his banner.”
