These new features empower members to build professional relationships and earn peer recognition directly alongside the credits, projects, and career data that power their careers. With Connections and Endorsements, IMDbPro is providing members with enhanced visibility and recognition, giving industry professionals a richer, more complete picture of who they are researching. The new features are the latest in a series of ongoing IMDbPro product innovations designed to help entertainment professionals achieve success throughout all stages of their career.
At a time when shifts in production and rapid technological change are reshaping how the entertainment industry works, building trusted professional relationships matters more than ever. IMDbPro Connections is a two-way, approval-based professional network that puts members in full control. Members can send connection requests to professionals they’ve worked with, met at industry events, or discovered on IMDbPro, whether they share credits or not. Both parties must agree to connect before an official connection is formed. IMDbPro Endorsements enable connected professionals to publicly vouch for each other’s work through written recommendations that can highlight specific credits and professions. Every endorsement requires the recipient’s approval before it appears on their name page.

The new features will allow members to set their own boundaries, including who can send connections requests and how their network is displayed.
