ZEE5-ல் ‘சிறை’… ஓடிடி உலகில் புதிய மைல்கல்!
ZEE5 தளத்தில் வெளியான ‘சிறை’ திரைப்படம், மிகக் குறுகிய காலத்திலேயே 156 மில்லியன் பார்வை நிமிடங்களை கடந்து ஓடிடி உலகில் புதிய சாதனையை படைத்துள்ளது. திரையரங்குகளில் வெற்றிகரமாக ஓடிய பின்னர் டிஜிட்டல் வெளியீடு கண்ட இந்த படம், உண்மைச் சம்பவத்தை அடிப்படையாக கொண்ட வலுவான கதைக்களத்தால் பார்வையாளர்களின் கவனத்தை முழுமையாகக் கவர்ந்துள்ளது.

The film Sirai, released on the ZEE5 platform, has created a new record in a very short span by crossing 156 million viewing minutes, marking a major milestone in the OTT space. After a successful theatrical run, the film’s digital release has strongly connected with audiences, thanks to its powerful storyline based on real-life incidents.
Produced by SS Lalit Kumar under the Seven Screen Studio banner, the film is written and directed by debutant Suresh Rajakumari. Notably, the story is inspired by the real-life experiences of director Tamizh, who earlier helmed the film Taanakkaran, giving Sirai an added layer of authenticity and emotional depth.
The core of Sirai revolves around the journey and inner conflict between a police officer and a remand prisoner. The narrative explores themes of authority, humanity, and conscience, portraying their emotional and psychological struggles in a deeply moving manner.
Vikram Prabhu plays the lead role, with Anantha as the female lead. Producer Lalit Kumar’s son, LK Akshay Kumar, makes his acting debut with this film, paired opposite actress Anishma.
