JioHotstar’s New Original ‘Resort’ to Premiere from March 13!
has announced its next exciting release, a web series titled ‘Resort’. The series is set to premiere on March 13. As per the release plan, four new episodes will be streamed every Friday.
Popular ‘Eruma Saani’ fame Vijay Kumar Rajendran plays the lead role in the series and has also written the story. For the first time, Vijay Kumar Rajendran has collaborated with leading television director Praveen Bennett for this project.
The story unfolds in a fictional luxury hotel named RR Resort. The protagonist, Vetri, works as a housekeeping employee who lacks formal education but possesses extraordinary culinary talent. He dreams of becoming a top chef. The core of the series revolves around the intense conflict between his ambition and the workplace oppression he faces.
‘Thalaivasal’ Vijay plays the short-tempered head chef and the main antagonist of the story. With his powerful performance, he brings alive the high-pressure atmosphere of the kitchen. Alongside them, Keerthi Amar, Abinaya Nethran, Darshana Sripal, Sai Dhanya, and Padava Gopi appear in important roles.
