With little experience and no clear idea of what awaits him, Subrahmanyam Chilukuri Rao, fondly known as Subbu, finds himself in the middle of a life-changing journey. His unexpected experiences form the heart of Netflix’s upcoming Telugu original series, Super Subbu.

Premiering globally on Netflix from July 2, Super Subbu marks the platform’s first Telugu original series. The show stars Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, alongside Mithila Palkar, Murali Sharma, Manasa Choudhary, and several other talented actors.

Set in the vibrant village of Mahipur, the story follows Subbu as he takes up the role of a Sex Education Officer. As he attempts to address a topic that is often considered uncomfortable or taboo, he encounters awkward situations, humorous misunderstandings, and a host of challenges that transform his outlook on life.
