The greatest support an actor can have on set is their co-star. This not only enhances their performance but also builds a strong understanding between them. One such duo is Ashish Dixit and Brinda Dahal from Sun Neo’s Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya. Recently, Ashish revealed how he helps debutant Brinda perform her scenes for the show.

Ashish, who plays the role of Kartik, shared, “When I have a scene with Brinda, who plays Vaishnavi, I always prepare with her beforehand. For instance, if Vaishnavi needs to be scared of Kartik because he’s angry, I make sure to shout or act angry with her before the scene. Similarly, if it’s a romantic scene, I flirt with her beforehand. This helps her stay in character without realizing it. Only a few people knew about it before, like the director. Brinda usually only finds out later that I was doing it to prepare for the scene. It makes our scenes really good. If we get stuck, I try to handle the situation and help her out. It’s all fun on the set.”

Sharing her gratitude towards co-stars Ashish, Brinda Dahal added, “I feel lucky to have a co-star like Ashish. He always helps me out and supports me, which really brings out the best in my performance. Having a co-star who’s there for you is super important. It makes everything work smoothly and helps us connect better with the audience.”

‘Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya’ is a family drama that follows Vaishnavi (played by Brinda Dahal), an orphan who reveres Chhathi Maiyya (portrayed by Devoleena Bhattacharjee) as her mother. The show centers on the devotion to Chhathi Maiyya, who protects and guides her worshippers through life, and celebrates the triumph of good over evil.
