I wanted to understand the man. Gaurav was just 32 when he passed. He was a pilot, a researcher, and a husband. While preparing, I wasn’t chasing fear references. I was thinking about his isolation. People who live around the paranormal carry a certain residue with them. I felt that on set. There’s a moment where I speak directly into the camera, and my voice shakes. Not because of the cold, but because it genuinely felt like I was being watched by the very person I was playing.”
