நல்ல கதையம்சம் கொண்ட படங்களுக்கு தமிழ் சினிமா எப்போதும் வரவேற்பு கொடுக்கும். இந்த வரிசையில், 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டின் தொடக்கத்திலேயே ‘மெல்லிசை’ இணைய உள்ளது. பல திரைப்படங்களில் காவல்துறை அதிகாரியாகவும் தீவிரமான கதாபாத்திரங்களிலும் பார்த்து பழகிய நடிகர் கிஷோர் இந்தப் படத்தில் உடற்கல்வி ஆசிரியராக நடித்துள்ளார். அன்றாட வாழ்க்கை, அமைதியான கனவுகள் மற்றும் உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான உண்மைகள் ஆகியவற்றை ’மெல்லிசை’ பேசுகிறது. படத்தின் முதல் பார்வை போஸ்டர் மற்றும் இசை ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் நேர்மறையான விமர்சனங்களைப் பெற்றது.

’மெல்லிசை’ தன்னை எவ்வளவு ஆழமாக பாதித்தது என்பதை நடிகர் கிஷோர் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டார், “நிறைவேறாத கனவுகள், பொறுப்புகள் மற்றும் நம்பிக்கையுடன் கூடிய சாதாரண வாழ்க்கையைப் பற்றிய கதையாக ‘மெல்லிசை’ என்னிடம் சொல்லப்பட்டது. எந்தவிதமான சமரசங்களும் இல்லாமல் கதை நேர்மையாக இருந்தது. வாழ்க்கையுடன் நெருக்கமாக இருக்கும் இந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்திருப்பது, நான் நடிப்பை ஏன் இவ்வளவு நேசிக்கிறேன் என்பதை எனக்கு நினைவூட்டியது. எங்கள் இயக்குநர், தயாரிப்பாளர்கள், என் சக நடிகர்கள் மற்றும் இந்தப் பயணத்தை உண்மையாக கொடுத்த ஒவ்வொரு தொழில்நுட்ப வல்லுநருக்கும் என்னுடைய நன்றி. இந்தப் படத்தில் அனைவருமே மனப்பூர்வமாக வேலை பார்த்திருக்கிறோம் என்பதே இந்தப் படத்தை இன்னும் ஸ்பெஷலாக்கியது” என்றார்.

திரவ் எழுதி இயக்கியுள்ள ’மெல்லிசை’ படத்தில் நடிகர் கிஷோருடன் சுபத்ரா ராபர்ட், ஜார்ஜ் மரியன், ஹரிஷ் உத்தமன், புதுமுகங்கள் தனன்யா, ஜஸ்வந்த் மணிகண்டன், புரோக்டிவ் பிரபாகரன் மற்றும் கண்ணன் பாரதி ஆகியோர் நடிக்கின்றனர். விமர்சன ரீதியாக பாராட்டப்பட்ட ‘வெப்பம் குளிர் மழை’ படத்தை தயாரித்த ஹேஷ்டேக் எஃப்டிஎஃப்எஸ் புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் ’மெல்லிசை’ படத்தையும் தயாரித்துள்ளது. இசையமைப்பாளர் சங்கர் ரங்கராஜன் இசையும், தேவராஜ் ஒளிப்பதிவும் இந்தக் கதைக்கான ஆன்மாவை திரையில் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளது. ’மெல்லிசை’ 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டின் தொடக்கத்தில் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியிட திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு மறக்க முடியாத அனுபவத்தை ‘மெல்லிசை’ கொடுக்கும் என படக்குழு நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

Speaking about Mellisai, Kishore shared how deeply the film affected him and how thankful he feels for the people behind it. He says, “Mellisai came to me as a story about ordinary lives with unfulfilled dreams, responsibilities and hope. It felt honest, without gimmicks. Mellisai, written & directed by Dhirav, features Kishore alongside Subatra Robert, , George Mariyan, Harish Uthaman, newcomers Dhananya, Jaswant Manikandan, Proaktiv Prabakaran and Kannan Bharathi. Produced by Hashtag FDFS Productions, the banner behind the critically-appreciated Veppam Kulir Mazhai, the film weaves its emotional arc across parallel timelines, celebrating love, aspiration and redemption. With music forming the soul of the narrative which is composed by Shankar Rangarajan and cinematography by debutant Devaraj. Mellisai is slated for an early-2026 theatrical release, promising a warm, uplifting experience for audiences.
