‘பராசக்தி’ – சவால்களைக் கடந்து உருவான ஒரு துணிச்சலான சினிமா முயற்சி

இயக்குநர் மணி ரத்னத்தின் சினிமா பள்ளியில் இருந்து உருவானவரான சுதா கொங்கரா, தொடர்ந்து அழுத்தமான கதைகளையும் வலுவான காட்சியமைப்பையும் கொண்டு தமிழ் சினிமாவில் தனித்த அடையாளம் பதித்தவர். அந்த வரிசையில், அவர் எழுதி இயக்கியுள்ள புதிய திரைப்படமான ‘பராசக்தி’, அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட நாளிலிருந்தே திரையுலக வட்டாரங்களிலும் ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியிலும் பெரும் எதிர்பார்ப்பை உருவாக்கி வருகிறது.
டான் பிக்சர்ஸ் சார்பில் ஆகாஷ் பாஸ்கரன் தயாரித்துள்ள இந்தப் படம், 2026 ஜனவரி 10 அன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.

படத்தின் உருவாக்கப் பயணம் எளிதானதல்ல என்பதையே சுதா கொங்கரா வெளிப்படையாக பதிவு செய்கிறார். கதையை எழுதி முடித்தபோது பாராட்டுகளோடு சேர்ந்து பல கேள்விகளும், சந்தேகங்களும் எழுந்ததாக கூறும் அவர், “இந்தக் கதையை திரைக்கதையாக மாற்றுவதும், அதை படமாக்குவதும் மிகப் பெரிய சவாலாக இருந்தது. வெளியான பிறகு கடுமையான விமர்சனங்களை சந்திக்க நேரிடும் என்று பலர் எச்சரித்தனர். ஆனாலும், என் குரு மணி ரத்னம் சார் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்த ‘சாத்தியமற்றதை சாத்தியமாக்க வேண்டும்’ என்ற நம்பிக்கையுடன் அந்த சவால்களை எதிர்கொண்டேன்” என்கிறார்.
இந்தப் பயணத்தில் தயாரிப்பாளர் ஆகாஷ் பாஸ்கரனின் ஆதரவு தான் தன்னை உறுதியாக நிற்க வைத்ததாக சுதா கொங்கரா குறிப்பிடுகிறார். “படத்தின் மீது அவர் வைத்த அசைக்க முடியாத நம்பிக்கை இல்லாமல் ‘பராசக்தி’ உருவாகியிருக்காது” என்பதில் அவர் தெளிவாக இருக்கிறார்.
நடிகர்களைப் பற்றிப் பேசும் போது, சிவகார்த்திகேயனை இந்தப் படத்தின் “முதுகெலும்பு” என்று அழைக்கிறார். கதாபாத்திரத்திற்காக அவர் காட்டிய அர்ப்பணிப்பும், எடுத்துக் கொண்ட உழைப்பும் படம் வெளியான பிறகு நிச்சயம் பேசப்படும் என நம்பிக்கை தெரிவிக்கிறார்.

அதேபோல், ரவி மோகனின் திரை ஆளுமை படத்திற்கு பெரிய பலம் சேர்த்துள்ளதாகவும், இந்தக் கதையில் நடிக்க அவர் எடுத்த முடிவுக்கு தனிப்பட்ட நன்றி என்றும் கூறுகிறார். அதர்வா முரளியின் கதாபாத்திரம் திரைக்கதை எழுதும் போதே தன்னை உற்சாகப்படுத்தியதாகவும், அவரது நடிப்பு எதிர்பார்த்ததைவிட இன்னும் சிறப்பாக வந்துள்ளதாகவும் அவர் தெரிவிக்கிறார்.

ஸ்ரீலீலா குறித்து பேசும்போது, “இந்தப் படத்தில் அவரை முற்றிலும் வேறொரு கோணத்தில் பார்ப்பீர்கள். தனது கதாபாத்திரத்திற்கு முழுமையான உயிர் கொடுத்துள்ளார்” என்று பாராட்டுகிறார்.
இசை குறித்து பேசாமல் இந்தப் படம் முழுமையடையாது. ஜி.வி.பிரகாஷ் குமாரின் இசை தனது படங்களுக்கு எப்போதும் ஒரு பெரிய பலமாக இருப்பதாக கூறும் சுதா கொங்கரா, ‘பராசக்தி’யிலும் அவரது இசை ரசிகர்களை நிச்சயம் கவரும் என உறுதியாக சொல்கிறார்.

விமர்சன ரீதியிலும், வணிக ரீதியிலும் வெற்றிப் பாதையை கடந்துவரும் சுதா கொங்கரா, இந்தப் படத்தின் மூலம் தமிழ் சினிமாவில் மட்டுமல்ல, ரசிகர்களின் மனதிலும் ‘பராசக்தி’ தனியிடம் பிடிக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார்.

இந்திய வரலாற்றின் முக்கியமான ஒரு காலகட்டத்தை மீண்டும் திரையில் உயிர்ப்பிக்கும் இந்தப் படம், 2026 ஜனவரி 10 அன்று உலகளவில் வெளியாகிறது.

 

 

‘Parasakthi’ Will Occupy a Unique Place in Tamil Cinema – Director Sudha Kongara

Director Sudha Kongara, who emerged from the cinematic school of Mani Ratnam, has consistently elevated Tamil cinema through her intense storytelling and strong narratives. In that line, her upcoming film ‘Parasakthi’ has generated immense anticipation among trade circles and audiences ever since its announcement.
Produced by Aakash Baskaran under the banner Dawn Pictures, the film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on January 10, 2026.

Speaking about the journey of the film, Sudha Kongara revealed that the process was far from easy. While the story received appreciation after it was written, it also sparked several doubts and questions. She stated that developing the screenplay itself was a major challenge. Many cautioned her that adapting this story into a film would be extremely difficult and that it might invite strong criticism after release. However, drawing inspiration from her mentor Mani Ratnam’s philosophy of “making the impossible possible,” she chose to overcome every challenge and bring the film to life.

She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to producer Aakash Baskaran, stating that his unwavering belief in the project played a crucial role in the film’s creation. “Without his support, ‘Parasakthi’ would not have been possible,” she said. Calling Sivakarthikeyan the backbone of the film, Sudha Kongara praised his dedication and hard work for the role, adding that his performance will undoubtedly become a major talking point among audiences.

She described Ravi Mohan’s screen presence as one of the film’s greatest strengths and thanked him for choosing to be part of this project. While writing the screenplay, Atharvaa Murali’s character deeply excited her, and she noted that his commitment has brought the role to life on screen even better than she had envisioned. Speaking about Sreeleela, she said audiences will see her in a completely different light in this film, praising her for delivering a remarkable performance that adds depth and life to her character.

Music composer G.V. Prakash Kumar, a frequent collaborator, once again adds immense value to the film. Sudha Kongara expressed confidence that audiences will thoroughly enjoy his music in ‘Parasakthi’.
