Power Plays, a Lagori Showdown and Explosive Feuds: Sara Falls as Jaswanth Rises on MX Originals Rise and Fall 2!
Mumbai, India | 17 October 2026: After six weeks of power plays, shifting loyalties and unexpected twists, the battle in Rise and Fall escalates as the Penthouse and Basement are split into two teams, setting the stage for an intense face-off between Rulers and Workers. With alliances put to the test and every decision carrying consequences, the contestants find themselves navigating a game where loyalty is questioned, friendships are challenged and the fight for power gets even more personal.
The new team divisions see Sara, Shehzad and Swara form one Penthouse team, while Karan, Rishabh and Irina make up the other. In the Basement, Gautam, Jaswanth and Priyanka join forces, while Sonam, Manish and Kajal form the second team. Niharika, as the Ultimate Ruler, remains safe from the impending twists. Adding another layer to the game, the teams must now work with contestants from the opposite floors rather than compete against them.
As the teams make their choices, Sara, Shehzad and Swara pick Sonam, Manish and Kajal, while Karan, Rishabh and Irina choose Gautam, Jaswanth and Priyanka. Away from the group confrontations, Gautam and Priyanka share a candid conversation, appreciating each other’s willingness to speak their minds while observing that those who had been hiding their true intentions are finally revealing themselves. Priyanka later turns to Jaswanth for support, expressing her frustration at feeling alone and unsupported by the others. Jaswanth reassures her that he is by her side, leaving Priyanka emotional.
The stakes rise further with the latest Rise and Fall challenge, where the outcome determines the fate of both floors. A win would secure the Rulers’ places in the Penthouse and give one Worker the opportunity to Rise. A loss, however, would send one Ruler to the Basement and eliminate the Workers’ chance to Rise from the losing team. The challenge sees both teams tasked with building a Lagori tower, testing their coordination, precision and ability to work together under pressure. While Manish, Kajal and Sonam manage to collect 9 blocks, Gautam, Priyanka and Jaswanth outperform them with 14 blocks, securing the win. The loss leaves Swara frustrated with Sonam’s performance, adding to the tensions as the contestants face the consequences of the challenge. Frustrated by Sonam’s performance, Swara struggles to contain her disappointment, even as she attempts to convince Niharika not to let Shehzad Fall. In a surprising turn, Swara expresses her own willingness to go down to the Basement.
The decision ultimately comes down to Sara and Swara, with Swara and Shehzad nominating Sara to Fall. As Sara heads to the Basement, tensions erupt between her and Swara over why she did not vote for Swara instead. Meanwhile, Jaswanth secures his Rise, giving the Workers a win of their own amid the shifting power dynamics.
But the fallout from the challenge is far from over. Sara’s confrontation with Priyanka intensifies, with the two exchanging personal insults and refusing to back down. From Sara calling Priyanka a “kadvi aurat” to Priyanka challenging Sara to make her shut up, the argument spirals into a heated face-off. With loyalties fractured and tempers flaring, the latest episode leaves the contestants facing a bigger question than ever: who is truly playing for the team, and who is only looking out for themselves?
