God Of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna and blockbuster maker Boyapati Sreenu’s most-awaited devotionally packed action extravaganza Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, mounted on a grand scale by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, and presented by M Tejaswini Nandamuri, has music scored by S Thaman. The promo of the first single- The Thaandavam garnered superb response. Today, the full song was unveiled during an event at PVR Mall in Juhu, Mumbai.
S Thaman, who has become synonymous with NBK’s high-voltage soundtracks, returns with another thunderous devotional banger. The song showcases Balakrishna in his most ferocious Aghora avatar yet, performing a fiery Shiva Thaandavam in a massive temple arena, surrounded by chanting Aghoras. The divine intensity in every frame pairs perfectly with Thaman’s trademark percussion-heavy score, turning the visuals into a spiritual spectacle.
Shankar Mahadevan and Kailash Kher lend their powerful voices to the track, while lyricist Kalyan Chakravarthy captures the raw, cosmic force of Lord Shiva through evocative writing. The song delivers sheer goosebumps and hints at becoming the most compelling devotional number of the year.
