2009 ஆம் ஆண்டு நடிகராக வேண்டும் என்ற கனவுடன் தனது பயணத்தை தொடங்கிய அவர், ஆரம்பத்தில் எதிர்கொண்டது ஏமாற்றங்களும் மறுப்புகளுமே. இருப்பினும் கனவை கைவிடாமல், வாழ்க்கையின் பொறுப்புகளையும் சினிமா ஆசையையும் சமநிலைப்படுத்தி பயணித்தது தான் இன்று அவரை இந்த நிலைக்கு கொண்டு வந்துள்ளது.
வாழ்க்கைச் சூழ்நிலைகள் காரணமாக தொலைக்காட்சி துறையில் தொழில்நுட்ப நிபுணராகவும், உள்ளடக்க உருவாக்குநராகவும் பணியாற்றிய நரேன் மணி, விஜய் டிவியின் பிரபல நிகழ்ச்சிகளான ‘நீங்களும் வெல்லலாம் ஒரு கோடி’, ‘கனெக்ஷன்’ போன்ற நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் முக்கிய பங்காற்றினார். பின்னணியில் வெற்றிகரமாக பணியாற்றியிருந்தாலும், கேமரா முன் நிற்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை மட்டும் அவரை தினமும் முன்னே தள்ளிக் கொண்டே சென்றது.

Currently, Naren Mani is steadily progressing in his acting career with several important projects, including an untitled family entertainer produced by Mytri Movie Makers, along with new films directed by Madhumitha and Siva.
