50 ஆண்டுகால நட்பின் புதிய அத்தியாயம்… கமல் தயாரிப்பில் ரஜினியின் ‘தர்மன்’ ஆரம்பம்!

 

இந்திய சினிமா ஆவலுடன் எதிர்பார்த்திருந்த கமல்ஹாசன் – ரஜினிகாந்த் கூட்டணியின் புதிய வரலாறு; சென்னையில் கோலாகலமாக தொடங்கிய ‘தர்மன்’ படப்பிடிப்பு!

சென்னையில் இன்று இந்திய திரையுலகின் மிக முக்கியமான தருணங்களில் ஒன்றாகக் கருதப்படும் நிகழ்வு நடைபெற்றது. ஐம்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக ரசிகர்களின் இதயங்களில் தனித்துவமான இடத்தைப் பிடித்திருக்கும் கமல்ஹாசனும், சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிகாந்தும், முதன்முறையாக தயாரிப்பாளர் – கதாநாயகன் கூட்டணியில் இணையும் திரைப்படமான ‘தர்மன்’ படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு இன்று அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாகத் தொடங்கியது.

இந்த அறிவிப்புடன் படத்தின் தலைப்பு மற்றும் ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக் போஸ்டரும் வெளியிடப்பட்டு ரசிகர்களிடையே பெரும் எதிர்பார்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

தமிழ் சினிமாவில் போட்டியைத் தாண்டி நட்புக்கும் பரஸ்பர மரியாதைக்கும் அடையாளமாக விளங்கும் கமல்ஹாசன் – ரஜினிகாந்த் உறவு, தற்போது ‘தர்மன்’ திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் புதிய பரிமாணத்தை எட்டியுள்ளது. கடந்த 46 ஆண்டுகளாக தரமான திரைப்படங்களை வழங்கி வரும் ராஜ்கமல் ஃபிலிம்ஸ் இன்டர்நேஷனல் நிறுவனத்தின் தயாரிப்பில் ரஜினிகாந்த் நடிப்பது இதுவே முதல் முறை என்பதும் இந்தத் திட்டத்தின் சிறப்பம்சமாகும்.

‘ஓ மை கடவுளே’, ‘டிராகன்’ போன்ற வெற்றிப் படங்களின் மூலம் இளம் தலைமுறையின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்த இயக்குநர் அஸ்வத் மாரிமுத்து, இந்த பிரமாண்டத் திரைப்படத்தை இயக்குகிறார். உலகம் முழுவதும் தனக்கென ரசிகர் பட்டாளத்தை உருவாக்கியுள்ள அனிருத் ரவிச்சந்தர் இசையமைக்கிறார்.

படத்தில் ரஜினிகாந்துடன் முன்னணி நடிகை சிம்ரன் மற்றும் பல மொழித் திரைப்படங்களில் தனது நடிப்பால் ரசிகர்களின் பாராட்டைப் பெற்ற ராஷி கன்னா முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்கின்றனர்.

Indian Cinema Witnesses a Historic Collaboration as Kamal Haasan Produces Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Dharman’

Chennai witnessed one of the most significant moments in Indian cinema today as the much-anticipated film “Dharman” officially commenced production. Marking the first-ever producer-actor collaboration between two of Indian cinema’s most celebrated legends, Kamal Haasan and Superstar Rajinikanth, the film has already generated immense excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.

The launch event also saw the unveiling of the film’s title and first-look poster, offering audiences their first glimpse into a project that is being regarded as a landmark moment in Indian cinema.

For over five decades, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have remained icons of Indian cinema, admired not only for their extraordinary careers but also for their enduring friendship and mutual respect. With Dharman, that relationship enters a new phase as Rajinikanth headlines a film produced by Kamal Haasan’s prestigious banner, RaajKamal Films International (RKFI). The project also marks Rajinikanth’s first-ever collaboration with RKFI in its 46-year history.

The film is directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the filmmaker behind successful and youth-favorite films such as Oh My Kadavule and Dragon. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, one of India’s most celebrated contemporary composers with a global fan following.

Joining Rajinikanth in pivotal roles are acclaimed actress Simran and versatile performer Raashii Khanna, who has earned recognition across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema.

Dharman also brings together an exceptional technical team. The film’s action sequences will be choreographed by National Award-winning stunt duo Anbariv, while Niketh Bommireddy handles cinematography. Karthik Rajkumar serves as Production Designer, Pradeep E. Ragav as Editor, and Annadurai as Art Director. Adding to the scale of the project, Disney has joined the film as a co-producer.

The inaugural shooting ceremony and first schedule commenced today in Chennai in the presence of the cast, crew, production team, and distinguished guests from across the entertainment industry.

Several prominent personalities attended the launch event, including producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu, Anbuchezhian, R.K. Selvamani, director Lingusamy, Kannan (CTO, Sun Network), Shenbagamoorthi, Tamil Kumaran, Krishnan Kutty, Balachandran, Pradeep Milroy Peter (JIO Star), Anand (Saregama), and Saravanan Vinoth, among others.

More than just a film announcement, Dharman represents a rare coming together of two towering figures of Indian cinema. With the title reveal itself creating a wave of excitement, expectations for the project are already soaring, making it one of the most eagerly awaited films in recent years.
