நீதிமன்ற அனுபவம் நிமிஷா சஜயனின் நடிப்பை மாற்றியது… ‘என்ன விலை’ படத்தில் யதார்த்தமான வழக்கறிஞராக மிளிரும் நடிகை!
யதார்த்தமான கதாபாத்திரங்களைத் தேர்வு செய்து தனது நடிப்பால் தொடர்ந்து கவனம் ஈர்த்து வரும் நடிகை நிமிஷா சஜயன், தற்போது ‘என்ன விலை’ திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் மேலும் ஒரு வித்தியாசமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் ரசிகர்களைச் சந்திக்க உள்ளார். இயக்குநர் சஜீவ் பழூர் இயக்கியுள்ள இந்தப் படத்தில் அவர் வழக்கறிஞராக நடித்திருப்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
திரைப்படத்தில் நீதிமன்ற காட்சிகள் மிக முக்கியமான இடத்தைப் பெறுவதால், அந்தக் கதாபாத்திரம் இயல்பாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதில் படக்குழு அதிக கவனம் செலுத்தியுள்ளது. அதற்காக நிமிஷா சஜயன் நேரடியாக நீதிமன்றத்திற்குச் சென்று வழக்கு விசாரணைகளைப் பார்வையிட்டு, வழக்கறிஞர்களின் உடல் மொழி, பேச்சு நடை, வாதிடும் முறை உள்ளிட்ட அம்சங்களை நுணுக்கமாகக் கவனித்துள்ளார்.
இதுகுறித்து நிமிஷா சஜயன் கூறுகையில், “இதற்கு முன்பும் ஒரு படத்தில் வழக்கறிஞராக நடித்துள்ளேன். ஆனால் ‘என்ன விலை’ படத்திற்காக நான் பெற்ற அனுபவம் முற்றிலும் வேறுபட்டது. இயக்குநர் சஜீவ் பழூர் நீதிமன்றத்திற்கு நேரில் சென்று வழக்கு விசாரணைகளைப் பார்க்கச் சொன்னார். அதற்கு முன்பு வழக்கறிஞர்கள் குறித்து எனக்கிருந்த கற்பனை, உண்மையான நீதிமன்ற நடவடிக்கைகளைப் பார்த்த பிறகு முழுமையாக மாறிவிட்டது. அவர்கள் பேசும் விதமும், வாதிடும் அணுகுமுறையும் மிகவும் இயல்பாக இருந்தது. அந்த அனுபவம்தான் படத்தில் நான் வசனங்களை வெளிப்படுத்திய விதத்தையே மாற்றியது,” என்றார்.
இந்தப் படம் நிமிஷா சஜயனுக்கும் இயக்குநர் சஜீவ் பழூருக்கும் மீண்டும் இணையும் படைப்பாகவும் அமைந்துள்ளது. நிமிஷா சஜயன் கதாநாயகியாக அறிமுகமான விமர்சன ரீதியாக பாராட்டப்பட்ட ‘தொண்டிமுதலும் திருஷ்சாட்சியும்’ திரைப்படத்தின் கதையை எழுதியவர் சஜீவ் பழூர். தற்போது, ஒன்பது ஆண்டுகளுக்குப் பிறகு அவர் எழுதி இயக்கிய ‘என்ன விலை’ திரைப்படத்தில் மீண்டும் இணைந்திருப்பது இருவருக்கும் சிறப்பான தருணமாக அமைந்துள்ளது.
இதுபற்றி நிமிஷா சஜயன் கூறுகையில், “சஜீவ் பழூரின் எழுத்து மீது எனக்கு எப்போதும் மிகுந்த மரியாதை உள்ளது. இந்தப் படத்தின் மூலம் அவரது இயக்குநர் திறமையையும் நெருக்கமாகக் காணும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது. அவரது படைப்புப் பயணத்தில் நானும் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருப்பது மகிழ்ச்சியையும் பெருமையையும் தருகிறது,” என்றார்.
சமூக அக்கறையுடன் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘என்ன விலை’ திரைப்படம், ராமேஸ்வரம் கடற்கரையில் பக்தர்கள் கடலில் வீசும் நாணயங்களை எடுத்து வாழ்வாதாரம் நடத்தும் ஒருவரின் வாழ்க்கையை மையமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. ஒரு சாதாரண வாழ்வாதாரப் போராட்டமாகத் தொடங்கும் சம்பவம், பின்னர் நாட்டின் கவனத்தை ஈர்க்கும் முக்கியமான சட்டப் போராட்டமாக மாறுவது படத்தின் மையக்கருவாக அமைந்துள்ளது.

கலாமயா ஃபிலிம்ஸ் நிறுவனம் தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படத்தை சஜீவ் பழூர் எழுதி இயக்கியுள்ளார். கிதேஷ் வி தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள இந்தப் படத்திற்கு சாம் சி.எஸ். இசையமைத்துள்ளார். ஆல்பி ஆண்டனி ஒளிப்பதிவையும், ஸ்ரீஜித் சாரங் படத்தொகுப்பையும் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளனர்.

Nimisha Sajayan Says Real Courtroom Experience Transformed Her Approach to Playing a Lawyer in Enna Vilai
Acclaimed actress Nimisha Sajayan, known for her powerful and realistic performances, is all set to impress audiences once again with her upcoming film Enna Vilai, directed by Sajeev Pazhoor. In the film, she essays the role of a lawyer, a character she says became far more authentic after observing real-life courtroom proceedings.
Speaking about her preparation for the role, Nimisha revealed that director Sajeev Pazhoor encouraged her to visit a courtroom and closely watch live legal proceedings before filming. The experience, she said, completely changed her perception of how lawyers function in real life.
“I have played a lawyer before, but Enna Vilai gave me a completely different experience. Before visiting the courtroom, I had a certain idea of how lawyers argued and presented themselves. But when I witnessed actual court proceedings, I realized how natural, composed, and realistic their interactions were. Watching their body language, the way they argued, and the overall courtroom atmosphere completely changed my approach. That experience influenced the way I delivered my dialogues and portrayed the character on screen,” said Nimisha Sajayan.
The film also marks a special reunion between Nimisha Sajayan and writer-director Sajeev Pazhoor after nine years. Sajeev had written the critically acclaimed Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, which introduced Nimisha as a leading actress. With Enna Vilai, he takes on the roles of writer and director, bringing them together once again.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Nimisha said, “I have always admired Sajeev Pazhoor’s writing. Working with him again after all these years has been a wonderful experience. Through this film, I also had the opportunity to witness his vision as a director. I am proud and happy to be part of this important phase of his creative journey.”
Enna Vilai is a socially relevant drama that revolves around a man who earns his livelihood by collecting coins thrown into the sea by devotees at the Rameswaram shore. What begins as a struggle for survival and dignity gradually evolves into a significant legal battle, eventually leading to a landmark courtroom verdict that attracts national attention.
The film features an ensemble cast including Karunas, Vijayalakshmi Agathiyan, Siddha Darshan, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Y. G. Mahendran, Motta Rajendran, Nizhalgal Ravi, Praveena, Mohan Ram, Chetan Kumar, Kavithalaya Krishnan, Kamalesh, Goli Soda Pandi, J. S.
