Sundeep Kishan’s Grand Fantasy Adventure ‘Karikaala’ Begins with a Traditional Pooja; Two-Part Release Dates Announced!

Directed by Ugandhar Muni, the pan-India film promises a magical world of mythology, fantasy, adventure and social elements, with its first instalment scheduled to release on July 2, 2027.

Actor Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming pan-India film Karikaala has officially begun its journey with a grand traditional pooja ceremony attended by several prominent members of the film industry. Directed by Ugandhar Muni and produced by Mahidhar Reddy and Rajasekhar Annabhimoju under the banner of Shining Pictures, the film is being made on an ambitious scale. Catherine Tresa, Sakshi Madolkar and Gayatri Bharadwaj play the female leads.

Designed as a two-part cinematic spectacle, Karikaala will blend mythology, fantasy, adventure and social elements to create a distinctive cinematic universe. The makers have announced that the first instalment will arrive in theatres worldwide on July 2, 2027, followed by the second part on October 28, 2027. He also revealed that filming for both instalments would take place simultaneously, with both films planned for release in 2027.
