சிவராத்திரி நன்னாளில் காமெடி – மேஜிக் கொண்டாட்டம்!
‘மரகத நாணயம் 2’ படப்பிடிப்பு உற்சாக பூஜையுடன் தொடக்கம்.
2017ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியான மரகத நாணயம் திரைப்படம் அதன் நகைச்சுவை, பேண்டஸி கலந்த திரைக்கதையால் ரசிகர்களை கவர்ந்து கலகலப்பான வெற்றியை பெற்றது. அந்த வெற்றிப் பயணத்தை தொடரும் வகையில் உருவாகும் அதன் இரண்டாம் பாகமான ‘மரகத நாணயம் 2’ தற்போது அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக துவங்கியுள்ளது.
சிவராத்திரியை முன்னிட்டு (பிப்ரவரி 16, 2026) சென்னையில் நடைபெற்ற பிரம்மாண்ட பூஜை விழாவில், திரையுலகின் பல முக்கிய பிரபலங்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு வாழ்த்துகளை தெரிவித்தனர். விழாவில் நடிகர் கார்த்தி கிளாப்போர்டை அடித்து துவக்கி வைத்தார். நடிகர் ஆர்யா கேமராவை இயக்க, இயக்குநர் வெங்கட் பிரபு “கேமரா ரோலிங்… ஆக்ஷன்!” என்று கூறி படப்பிடிப்பை ஆரம்பித்து வைத்தார்.
பேஷன் ஸ்டுடியோஸ், தங்கல் டிவி, ஆர்டிசி மீடியா, ஆக்சஸ் ஃபிலிம் ஃபேக்டரி மற்றும் குட் ஷோ ஆகிய நிறுவனங்களின் கூட்டுத் தயாரிப்பாக உருவாகும் இந்தப் படத்தை சுதன் சுந்தரம், மணீஷ் சிங்கால், துர்காராம் சௌத்ரி, தேவ் மற்றும் கேவி துரை தயாரிக்கின்றனர். முதல் பாகத்தை இயக்கிய ஏஆர்கே சரவன்வே இந்த தொடரையும் இயக்குகிறார் என்பது ரசிகர்களுக்கு கூடுதல் உற்சாகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

Comedy–Fantasy Celebration Begins on Maha Shivaratri! ‘Maragatha Naanayam 2’ Goes on Floors with a Grand Pooja Ceremony.
The 2017 blockbuster Maragatha Naanayam won audiences over with its unique blend of comedy and fantasy. Continuing that successful journey, the sequel, ‘Maragatha Naanayam 2’, has now officially gone on floors.
Marking the occasion of Maha Shivaratri (February 16, 2026), the film commenced with a grand pooja ceremony in Chennai. Several prominent personalities from the film industry attended the event and extended their wishes.
Actor Karthi gave the inaugural clap, while actor Arya switched on the camera. Director Venkat Prabhu formally initiated the shoot by calling out, “Camera rolling… Action!”
The film is jointly produced by Passion Studios, Thangam TV, RTC Media, Axess Film Factory, and Good Show. Producers Sudhan Sundaram, Manish Singhal, Durgaram Choudhary, Dev, and K.V. Durai are backing the project. The sequel is once again directed by A.R.K. Saravan, who helmed the first installment—adding to fans’ excitement.

Aadhi plays the lead role, alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead. The ensemble cast also includes Sathyaraj, Nikki Galrani, Munishkanth, Anand Raj, Danny, Arunraja Kamaraj, and Muruganandham in pivotal roles.
