தமிழ் சினிமாவில் டிஜிட்டல் தொழில்நுட்பத்தை முழுமையாக பயன்படுத்தி புதிய முயற்சியாக வெளிவந்து ரசிகர்களிடையே பெரும் வரவேற்பைப் பெற்ற திரைப்படம் “சிலந்தி”. அந்த வெற்றிப்படத்தின் தொடர்ச்சியாக தற்போது “சிலந்தி – 2” என்ற பெயரில் இன்னும் பிரம்மாண்டமான அளவில் இரண்டாம் பாகம் உருவாகிறது.
ஜி கம்பெனி சார்பில் தயாரிப்பாளர் சங்கர் பழனிச்சாமி தயாரிக்க, முதல் பாகத்தை இயக்கிய ஆதிராஜனே இந்த படத்தையும் எழுதி இயக்குகிறார். தமிழ், தெலுங்கு, இந்தி, கன்னடம், மலையாளம் மற்றும் பெங்காலி என மொத்தம் 6 மொழிகளில் உருவாகும் இப்படம், மிகப்பெரிய பட்ஜெட்டில் அதிரடி த்ரில்லராக உருவாக இருப்பது கவனம் ஈர்க்கிறது.
தமிழ், தெலுங்கு, மலையாள திரைப்படங்களில் தனது திறமையான நடிப்பால் ரசிகர்களை கவர்ந்து வரும் நடிகை மாளவிகா மேனன், இந்த படத்தில் இதுவரை நடித்திராத முற்றிலும் வித்தியாசமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கிறார். மேலும் பல மொழிகளில் பிரபலமான முன்னணி நடிகர்களுடன் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடைபெற்று வருவதாக படக்குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

Director Athirajan Returns with a Grand Pan-Indian Thriller “Silandhi 2” in 6 Languages!
The film “Silandhi”, which created a sensation as Tamil cinema’s first fully digital feature film, earned widespread appreciation for its innovative storytelling and technical brilliance. Following the success of the first installment, the makers are now gearing up for a much bigger and more ambitious sequel titled “Silandhi 2.”
Produced by Shankar Palanichamy under the banner of G Company, the sequel will once again be written and directed by Athirajan, who helmed the original film. The movie is being planned on a lavish scale as an intense thriller and will release in six languages — Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali.
Actress Malavika Menon, who has been making waves in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema with her impressive performances, will be seen in a completely different and challenging role in this film. Discussions are also underway with several leading actors from multiple film industries to play pivotal characters.
One of the major highlights of “Silandhi 2” is its extensive international schedule, with important portions of the shoot set to take place in Cambodia and Vietnam. The film is also expected to be a visual spectacle, featuring more than 30 minutes of high-end graphics sequences. The makers reveal that the movie will blend mystery, mythology, and thrilling elements in a style reminiscent of films like “Kantara,” promising a unique cinematic experience for audiences.
