மதுரையின் மண்வாசனையில் ஜீவா… குடும்ப பாசத்தை பேச வரும் புதிய படம்!
தமிழ் சினிமாவில் குடும்ப உறவுகளை மையமாகக் கொண்ட கதைகள் எப்போதும் ரசிகர்களின் மனதில் தனி இடம் பிடித்து வருகின்றன. அந்த வரிசையில், அப்பா–மகன் பாசத்தை உணர்வுபூர்வமாக சொல்லும் புதிய படத்தில் நடிகர் ஜீவா நடிக்க உள்ளார்.
‘கருடன்’, ‘மாமன்’ போன்ற வெற்றிப்படங்களை வழங்கிய லார்க் ஸ்டூடியோஸ் தயாரிக்கும் இந்தப் புதிய திரைப்படம் தற்போது அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. சமீபத்தில் வெளியான ‘TTT’ திரைப்படத்தின் வெற்றிக்குப் பிறகு ஜீவா தேர்வு செய்துள்ள இந்தக் கதை, மதுரையின் இயல்பான வாழ்க்கை முறையையும், குடும்ப உறவுகளின் ஆழமான உணர்வுகளையும் திரையில் கொண்டு வரவுள்ளது.
இந்தப் படத்தை ‘கிடா’ திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் கவனம் பெற்ற இயக்குநர் ரா. வெங்கட் இயக்குகிறார். கிராமத்து வாழ்வியலையும், மனித உறவுகளின் நுணுக்கங்களையும் இயல்பாக பதிவு செய்வதில் பெயர் பெற்ற அவர், இந்தப் படத்திலும் அதே உணர்வை ரசிகர்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்க்க உள்ளார்.

அடுத்த மாதம் முதல் மதுரை மற்றும் அதைச் சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளில் ஒரே கட்டமாக படப்பிடிப்பு தொடங்கப்பட உள்ளது. மதுரையின் மண்ணின் நறுமணத்தையும், குடும்ப உறவுகளின் உணர்ச்சி பூர்வமான தருணங்களையும் திரையில் உயிர்ப்பிக்கவுள்ள இந்தப் படம், ஜீவாவின் திரைப்பயணத்தில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க படைப்பாக அமையும் என திரையுலக வட்டாரங்கள் நம்பிக்கை தெரிவிக்கின்றன.
Jiiva Heads Back to Madurai’s Roots with an Emotional Family Drama
Family-oriented stories have always held a special place in Tamil cinema, and actor Jiiva is now set to star in a new film that explores the emotional bond between a father and son.
Lark Studios, known for delivering successful films such as Garudan and Maaman, has officially announced its next production venture. Following the success of his recent release TTT, Jiiva has chosen a story deeply rooted in the culture and lifestyle of Madurai, promising an emotionally engaging cinematic experience.
The film will be directed by Ra. Venkat, who earned recognition for his critically acclaimed film Kida. Known for portraying rural life and human relationships with authenticity, the director is expected to bring the same realism and emotional depth to this project.
Set against the backdrop of Madurai and its surrounding regions, the story revolves around the many dimensions of the father-son relationship. Highlighting the value of family, love, and emotional connections, the film is expected to resonate with audiences across all age groups.
Produced by K. Kumar, the project boasts a strong technical team. Renowned cinematographer M. Sukumar will handle the visuals, while Ganesh Siva will oversee editing. The involvement of experienced technicians has further heightened expectations surrounding the film.
Principal photography is scheduled to commence next month in and around Madurai in a single shooting schedule.
