முத்துவின் மர்ம உலகை விரிவாக்கும் ‘காட்டான்’ டிரெய்லர் – எதிர்பார்ப்பை உயர்த்திய புதிய வெளியீடு

ஜியோ ஹாட்ஸ்டார்  தளத்தில் மார்ச் 27 முதல் வெளியாக உள்ள ‘முத்து என்கிற காட்டான்’ வெப் தொடர், அதன் சுவாரஸ்யமான டிரெய்லர் வெளியீட்டின் மூலம் ரசிகர்களிடையே மீண்டும் பரபரப்பை கிளப்பியுள்ளது. முன்னதாக வெளியான டீசரில் நடித்த கதாபாத்திரத்தின் துண்டிக்கப்பட்ட தலையை மையமாகக் கொண்ட காட்சி சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பெரும் பேசுபொருளாக இருந்தது.

அந்த மர்மத்தை மேலும் விரிவாக்கும் விதமாக தற்போது வெளியாகியுள்ள டிரெய்லர், முத்து என்ற மனிதரின் வாழ்க்கையை பல்வேறு கோணங்களில் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. ஒவ்வொரு கதாபாத்திரமும் முத்துவைப் பற்றி வெவ்வேறு கருத்துக்களை பகிர்வதால், அவர் உண்மையில் பயங்கர குற்றவாளியா அல்லது தவறாக புரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட ஒருவனா என்ற கேள்வி ரசிகர்களிடையே உருவாகிறது.

கதை முன்னேறும் போது, முத்துவின் உண்மையான முகமும் அவரது கடந்த காலத்தில் நடந்த சம்பவங்களும் மெதுவாக வெளிப்படத் தொடங்குகின்றன. இதனால் தொடரின் மர்மமும் சஸ்பென்ஸும் மேலும் அதிகரிக்கிறது.

இந்தத் தொடரில் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்துள்ளார். அவருடன் , மற்றும் முத்துக்குமார் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

டிரெய்லர் குறித்து விஜய் சேதுபதி கூறுகையில், “இயக்குநர் முதன்முதலில் ‘காட்டான்’ கதையை எனக்கு சொல்லும்போது, ஆறு பக்கங்களைக் கொண்ட ஒரு சுருக்கக் குறிப்பை பகிர்ந்தார். அவர் உருவாக்கிய கதாபாத்திரமும் அந்த உலகமும் என்னை உடனடியாக ஈர்த்துவிட்டது. இந்தத் தொடரில் பணியாற்றிய அனுபவம் ஒரு நடிகராக எனக்கு பெரும் மனநிறைவை அளித்தது. இதைப் பார்ப்பவர்கள் சிந்திக்கத் தூண்டும் ஒரு அர்த்தமுள்ள அனுபவத்தைப் பெறுவார்கள் என்று நம்புகிறேன்,” என்றார்.

தேசிய விருது பெற்ற இயக்குநர் உருவாக்கிய இந்தத் தொடரை அவர் மற்றும் இணைந்து இயக்கியுள்ளனர். ஒளிப்பதிவை மற்றும் மேற்கொண்டுள்ளனர். இசையை அமைத்துள்ளார்.

‘முத்து என்கிற காட்டான்’ வெப் தொடர் தமிழ், ஹிந்தி, தெலுங்கு, மலையாளம், கன்னடம், மராத்தி மற்றும் பெங்காலி ஆகிய ஏழு மொழிகளில் தளத்தில் மார்ச் 27 முதல் ஸ்ட்ரீம் செய்யப்படுகிறது.

Kaattaan’ Trailer Deepens the Mystery Surrounding Muthu’s Severed Head

The makers of the upcoming web series Muthu Alias Kaattaan have released an intriguing trailer, further intensifying curiosity around the show ahead of its premiere on JioHotstar on March 27.
Earlier, the teaser created a sensation online by revealing the shocking image of a severed head belonging to the character played by Vijay Sethupathi. That unsettling glimpse sparked widespread speculation among audiences. Now, the newly released trailer expands the narrative, offering deeper insight into the mysterious world of Muthu.
The trailer unfolds through multiple perspectives, with different characters describing Muthu in completely contrasting ways. Is he a feared outlaw or a misunderstood man shaped by circumstances? As these perspectives collide, the mystery surrounding Muthu and the brutal events connected to him gradually begins to unravel.
Leading the series, Vijay Sethupathi is joined by a strong ensemble cast including Milind Soman, Sudev Nair, and Muthukumar, among others.
Speaking about the project, Vijay Sethupathi said, “When director M. Manikandan first narrated the story of Kaattaan, he shared a six-page synopsis. I was immediately drawn to the character and the world he had imagined. Working on this series gave me a deep sense of satisfaction as an actor. I truly hope audiences take away something meaningful from the experience.”
The series is created by National Award-winning filmmaker M. Manikandan, known for his distinctive storytelling style, and is directed by Manikandan along with B. Ajith Kumar. The visual tone of the series is shaped by acclaimed cinematographers Madhu Neelakandan and N. Shanmuga Sundaram, while the music is composed by Rajesh Murugesan.
Muthu Alias Kaattaan will stream exclusively on JioHotstar from March 27 in seven languages — Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, and Bengali.
