The much-anticipated film Peddi, starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan, has officially completed its entire shooting schedule. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, this rural action drama is now gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 4.
Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film is being mounted on a large scale with a clear vision of reaching audiences across India as a pan-Indian entertainer.
The recently unveiled release date poster has already generated strong buzz among fans. Featuring Ram Charan drenched in blood, sweat, and dust, roaring with raw intensity, the poster hints at the film’s powerful and gritty narrative. It signals that Peddi is not just a commercial entertainer, but a blend of intense action, deep emotion, and human resilience.
Strategically slated for early June, the film aims to capitalize on the final phase of the summer holiday season. Trade analysts view this timing as a smart move, ensuring strong theatre footfall before the new academic year begins.
The shooting concluded with the filming of a grand special song composed by AR Rahman, shot on an elaborate set in Hyderabad. This song is expected to be one of the major highlights of the film. Meanwhile, post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace.
Ram Charan has undergone a remarkable transformation for the film, evident from the two glimpses released earlier, showcasing him in distinctly different looks. His energetic dance performances in the songs are also expected to add to the film’s appeal.
The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, alongside an impressive ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu Sharma, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
