தமிழ் சினிமாவில் ஒரு புதிய கமர்ஷியல் இயக்குநரின் வருகையை அறிவிக்கும் விதமாக, ஜெய் நடிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள “சட்டென்று மாறுது வானிலை” திரைப்படத்தின் முன் வெளியீட்டு விழா சென்னையில் கோலாகலமாக நடைபெற்றது. ஆனால் இது சாதாரண திரைப்பட விழாவாக இல்லை.

BV Production தயாரிப்பில், பாபு விஜய் இயக்கி தயாரித்துள்ள இந்த திரைப்படத்தில் ஜெய் மற்றும் மீனாட்சி கோவிந்தராஜன் முன்னணி கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். யோகி பாபு, கருடா ராம், ஸ்ரீமன் உள்ளிட்ட பலரும் முக்கிய வேடங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். காதல், திரில்லர், சமூக பிரச்சனை, அரசியல் அடுக்குகள் என பல அம்சங்களை இணைத்து இந்த படம் உருவாகியுள்ளதாக விழா முழுவதும் பேசியவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்டனர்.

விழாவில் பேசிய ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் ரிச்சர்ட் M. நாதன், “முதல் படத்தை இயக்கி அதையே தயாரிப்பது என்பது ஒரே நேரத்தில் பைக் ஓட்டிக்கொண்டு பெட்ரோல் கேனையும் சுமப்பது மாதிரி கடினம்” என்று கூறி பாபு விஜயின் உழைப்பை பாராட்டினார். இந்தப் படத்திற்காக எந்த எதிர்பார்ப்பும் இல்லாமல் முழு மனதுடன் பணியாற்றியதாகவும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.

“‘ரமணா’ படம் பார்த்த பிறகு முருகதாஸ் சாரிடம் உதவி இயக்குநராக ஒரு படம் வேலை செய்தாலே போதும் என்ற ஆசைதான் இருந்தது,” என்று கூறிய அவர், ‘சர்கார்’ படத்தில் உதவி இயக்குநராக பணியாற்றிய அனுபவத்தை நினைவுகூர்ந்தார்.
“இந்தப் படத்தில் விஜய் சார் ரெஃபரன்ஸ்கள் இருக்கின்றன என்பது உண்மைதான். ஏனென்றால் நான் அவருடைய ரசிகன்,” என்ற அவரது வெளிப்படையான பேச்சு ரசிகர்களின் கைதட்டலை பெற்றது.

‘Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai’ Born from the School of Murugadoss!

Marking the arrival of a new commercial filmmaker in Tamil cinema, the pre-release event of “Sattendru Maaruthu Vaanilai”, starring , was held in Chennai with great fanfare. But this was far from an ordinary film event. One thing became clear throughout the evening — two names had deeply influenced both director Babu Vijay’s life and the making of this film: and .
