The Hon’ble Supreme Court yesterday heard the TVK’s challenge to the Waqf Amendment Act, 2025 being IA No. 105256 in Re The Waqf Amendment Act (1).
The Hon’ble Court directed for the matter to be kept on 15.05.2025 for the purpose of arguments on interim relief sought. The Union Government remains refrained from acting upon the key provisions to the bill be it inclusion of non Muslims in the Central Waqf Council and Waqf Boards and denotifying properties including Waqf by user.
TVK continues to be the front runner in defence of Constitution and rights of the deserving.
