“தண்டகாரண்யம்” திரைப்படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழா சென்னை கிரீன் பார்க் ஹோட்டலில் கோலாகலமாக நடைபெற்றது!
Learn & Teach புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் சார்பில் எஸ். சாய் தேவானந்த், எஸ். சாய் வெங்கடேஸ்வரன் மற்றும் நீலம் புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் இணைந்து தயாரித்துள்ள “தண்டகாரண்யம்” திரைப்படம், இயக்குநர் அதியன் ஆதிரை இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ளது. தினேஷ், கலையரசன், ஷபீர், பாலசரவணன், முத்துக்குமார், ரித்விகா, வின்சு உள்ளிட்ட பலரும் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். வரும் செப்டம்பர் 19-ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகவுள்ள இப்படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழா சென்னை கிரீன் பார்க் ஹோட்டலில் பிரமாண்டமாக நடைபெற்றது.

“இந்தப் படத்தின் இயக்குநர் அதியனுடன் இது எனது இரண்டாவது படம். புதிய களம், புதிய கதை, அதிலும் முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்க வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்தது மகிழ்ச்சி. படம் வித்தியாசமான இடங்களில் படமாக்கப்பட்டதால் பெரும் சவால்கள் இருந்தன. விமர்சகர்கள் இதனை சிறப்பாக எழுதி, படம் வெற்றி பெறச் செய்ய வேண்டும் எனக் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.”

“இயக்குநர் அதியன் ஆதிரை மிகுந்த உணர்ச்சி வசப்படும் நபர். அதேசமயம், படம் வணிக ரீதியாகவும் வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும் என்பதை மனதில் வைத்து இயக்குகிறார். இசையமைப்பாளர் ஜஸ்டின் படத்துக்கு வந்த பிறகு மிகச் சிறப்பாக இசையமைத்துள்ளார்.
கடைசி மூன்று படங்களில் நான் வாழ்க்கையில் அனுபவித்த உண்மைகளை பயன்படுத்தி நடித்தேன். உதாரணமாக, ஒருவர் மூச்சை எவ்வாறு இழுத்து விடுவார் என்பதையும் கவனித்து நடித்தேன். அதை மக்கள் ரசித்தார்கள். ரப்பர் பந்து படத்திற்கு மக்கள் கொடுத்த வரவேற்புக்கு நன்றி.”
இயக்குநர் அதியன் ஆதிரை
“இந்தக் கதையின் அடிப்படை மகாபாரதம். அது தெருகூத்து, நாடகம் போன்ற பல வடிவங்களில் வந்துள்ளது. ஆனால், கிருஷ்ணர் தாமதமாக வந்ததன் பொருள் என்ன? திரௌபதி ஏன் ‘கிருஷ்ணா சீக்கிரம் வா’ என்று கூவினாள்? என்ற கேள்விகளின் அடிப்படையில் படத்தின் கரு அமைந்துள்ளது.
மகாகவி பாரதியார் எழுதிய பாஞ்சாலி சபதம் கவிதையில் ‘திரௌபதியின் துகில் உரியும் போது அங்கிருந்தவர்கள் என்ன செய்தனர்?’ என்ற கேள்வி எழுப்பப்படுகிறது. அதையே மையமாகக் கொண்டு இந்தப் படத்தை உருவாக்கினேன். முதலில் இயக்குநர் அமீர் இதில் நடிக்க இருந்தார். ஆனால் முடியாமல் போனதால் தினேஷ் அந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்தார்.
இந்தப் படம் ஆதிக்க வர்க்கத்துக்கு எதிராக குரல் கொடுக்கும் திரைப்படமாக இருக்கும். பாடகர் அறிவு பாடிய பாடல் கதைக்குத் துணை நிற்கும் விதமாக உள்ளது.”

“கடந்த 13 ஆண்டுகளாக இந்தக் குழுவுடன் பணியாற்றி வருகிறேன். தயாரிப்பாளர் சாய் வெங்கடேஸ்வரன் என்னுடன் பல படங்களில் இணைந்து பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். நாங்கள் இங்கு வெறும் பணம் சம்பாதிக்க வரவில்லை. சமூகத்தைச் சரிசெய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதே எங்கள் நோக்கம்.
நான் இயக்குநராக வரும்போது, 3 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு மேல் நீடிக்க மாட்டேன் என்று நினைத்தேன். ஏனெனில், நான் சொல்லும் கருத்துகளை மக்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள் என நம்பவில்லை. ஆனால் மக்கள் எங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள்.
முன்பெல்லாம் இடதுசாரிகள் சென்சார் போர்டில் அதிகமாக இருந்தனர். ஆனால் இப்போது வலதுசாரிகள் அதிகம் உள்ளனர். நேபாள கலவரத்திலும் ராப் இசை கலைஞர்கள் முக்கிய பங்கு வகித்துள்ளனர்.
தொடர்ச்சியாக நீலம் புரொடக்ஷன் சார்பில் வேட்டுவம், பைசன் உள்ளிட்ட பல படங்கள் வெளியாகவிருக்கின்றன. அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து மேலும் மூன்று படங்கள் வெளிவரவிருக்கின்றன.”

“Thandakaranyam” Audio Launch Held in Chennai
The audio launch of Thandakaranyam, directed by Adhiyan Aathirai and produced by S. Sai Devanandh and S. Sai Venkateswaran under Learn & Teach Productions, along with Neelam Productions, was held in a grand manner at Green Park Hotel, Chennai.
The film stars Dinesh, Kalaiyarasan, Shabeer, Bala Saravanan, Muthukumar, Ritwika, and Vinchu in lead roles. It is set to release on September 19.
Speaking at the event, actress Ritwika said:
“This is my second film with director Adhiyan. I’ve taken on an important character in a fresh setting and story. The shoot was extremely challenging as it was filmed in unique locations. I hope critics write positively and help the film succeed.”
Actor Kalaiyarasan said:
“Director Adhiyan has a childlike spirit. Dinesh, Vinchu, and the entire team have performed exceptionally well. Ritwika plays my sister in this film. Working with Neelam Productions always brings valuable experiences. I strongly believe Thandakaranyam will be a landmark in my career.”
Actor Dinesh shared:
“Adhiyan is very emotional but also determined that his films succeed commercially. Composer Justin elevated the film’s impact after joining the team. In my last three films, I’ve performed based on real-life experiences—like even observing how a person breathes. Audiences have connected with that, and I thank them for their love, especially for Rubber Band. Nature—air, hills—belongs to everyone.”
Director Adhiyan Aathirai explained:
“The story of this film draws inspiration from the Mahabharata, which has lived on for centuries through street plays, dramas, and more. One recurring question is why Krishna was delayed in helping Draupadi, even as she called out desperately. In Mahakavi Bharathi’s Panchali Sabatham, he questions what those present were doing while Dushasana disrobed Draupadi. That core idea shaped this film. Initially, director Ameer was to play a key role, but due to unforeseen reasons, Dinesh stepped in. This film is my voice against oppressive structures. Singer Arivu has lent his voice to a song that strengthens the narrative.”
Director Pa. Ranjith said:
“I’ve been working with this team for 13 years now. Producer Sai Venkateswaran, who has collaborated with me earlier, has joined hands again for this project. We are not here to make money but to spark social change. When I entered cinema, I thought I’d last only three years because I believed people wouldn’t accept my ideas. But the audience embraced us. Earlier, the censor board leaned left; today, it is dominated by the right. Even the unrest in Nepal shows the significant role of rap artists.
Under Neelam Productions, films like Vettuvam and Bison are on the way, followed by three more upcoming projects.”
Thandakaranyam is now set for release on September 19th.
