சென்னையில் நடைபெற்ற ‘பிளாஸ்ட்’ திரைப்பட பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பு வழக்கமான சினிமா புரமோஷன் நிகழ்வாக இல்லாமல், பெண்களின் பாதுகாப்பு, குடும்ப உறவுகள் மற்றும் புதிய தலைமுறை சினிமா பற்றிய கருத்துகளை முன்வைத்த ஒரு வித்தியாசமான மேடையாக மாறியது.

தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள இந்தப் படத்தில் , மற்றும் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். அறிமுக இயக்குநர் இயக்கியுள்ள இந்த படம் மே 28ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் வெளியாகிறது.

நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய நடிகர் அர்ஜுன், “இது சாதாரண ஆக்ஷன் படம் இல்லை. குடும்ப உணர்வுகளோடு பெண்களின் தற்காப்பு திறனை பேசும் படம். கராத்தே மாஸ்டராக நடித்தது எனக்கு புதுவிதமான அனுபவம்,” என்று தெரிவித்தார். மேலும், “படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்தில் இளம் டீமின் அர்ப்பணிப்பை பார்த்து நான் கூட புதிய விஷயங்களை கற்றுக் கொண்டேன்,” என அவர் கூறியது கவனம் பெற்றது.

Speaking at the event, Arjun described the film as more than just an action entertainer. “This is not a regular action film. It speaks about family emotions and women’s self-defense. Playing a karate master was a completely new experience for me,” he shared. He also praised the young team behind the film, saying, “I learned many new things from the dedication and energy of this talented crew.”

Director Subash K Raj became emotional while recalling his journey into filmmaking. “I’m grateful to AGS Entertainment for trusting a newcomer like me and giving me complete creative freedom. Though Blast is an action film, it carries emotions that every family can connect with,” he said.

Music composer revealed that the project instantly caught his attention. “Tamil cinema is like an ocean — you must come fully prepared. The moment I heard the story of Blast, I knew it was something unique,” he explained. He further added that he experimented with an entirely fresh musical approach for the film.

Actress Preity Mukhundhan said, “Powerful action-oriented roles for women are rare. The character of Nila will remain one of the most important milestones in my career.” Meanwhile, Abhirami shared her excitement about reuniting with Arjun after 25 years, calling it a memorable experience.

One of the major talking points of the event was the film’s emphasis on women’s empowerment and safety. Creative producer stated, “The film shows how confident and secure a woman can become when she learns self-defense. It also carries an important message about how society should raise and support girl children.”
