காட்டின் கர்ஜனையுடன் வரும் ‘காட்டாளன்’ – மே 28 முதல் தமிழக திரையரங்குகளில் அதிரடி வேட்டை!
2024ஆம் ஆண்டு மலையாளத் திரையுலகில் பெரும் தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்திய ‘மார்கோ’ திரைப்படத்தின் வெற்றிக்குப் பிறகு, தயாரிப்பாளர் ஷெரீப் முகம்மது தனது அடுத்த பிரம்மாண்ட முயற்சியாக ‘காட்டாளன்’ திரைப்படத்தை ரசிகர்களுக்கு வழங்கத் தயாராகியுள்ளார். கியூப்ஸ் என்டர்டெயின்மெண்ட்ஸ் நிறுவனம் தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படம், வரும் மே 28ஆம் தேதி உலகமெங்கும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. தமிழக வெளியீட்டை ஜி எஸ் சினிமா இன்டர்நேஷனல் நிறுவனத்தின் லெனின் முன்னெடுக்கிறார்.
இயக்குநர் பவுல் ஜார்ஜ் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘காட்டாளன்’, காட்டை மையமாகக் கொண்டு நடைபெறும் மர்ம கடத்தல் சம்பவங்கள், அதிரடி மோதல்கள் மற்றும் உயிர் பிழைப்புப் போராட்டங்களை மையமாகக் கொண்ட விறுவிறுப்பான திரில்லர் திரைப்படமாக உருவாகியுள்ளது. தொடக்கம் முதல் இறுதி வரை சஸ்பென்ஸும் பரபரப்பும் கலந்த திரைக்கதையால் ரசிகர்களை இருக்கையின் நுனியில் அமர வைக்கும் அனுபவத்தை இப்படம் தரும் என படக்குழு நம்பிக்கை தெரிவிக்கிறது.
முன்னணி நடிகர் ஆண்டனி வர்கீஸ் கதாநாயகனாக நடித்துள்ள இப்படத்தில் துஷாரா விஜயன், கபீர் சிங், சுனில், சித்திக், பர்த் திவாரி, ராஜ் திரன்தாசு, ஹரிஷங்கர் நாராயணன், ஆன்சன் பால் மற்றும் சந்தீப் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.
மேலும், ‘பெப்ஸி’ மற்றும் ‘எகசெட்’ என்ற இரு யானைகள் இப்படத்தில் முக்கிய பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியுள்ளன. அனைத்து சட்ட அனுமதிகளுடனும், விலங்குகள் பாதுகாப்பு விதிமுறைகளை முறையாக பின்பற்றி, எந்தவித துன்புறுத்தலும் இன்றி யானைகள் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டதாக படக்குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.
‘கேஜிஎஃப்’ திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் இந்திய அளவில் இசை ரசிகர்களை கவர்ந்த இசையமைப்பாளர் ரவி பஸ்ரூர் இப்படத்திற்கு இசையமைத்துள்ளார். ரேனா திவே ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ள இப்படத்திற்கு ஷமீர் முகம்மது படத்தொகுப்பு மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார்.
தமிழ் மற்றும் மலையாள மொழிகளில் ஒரே நேரத்தில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ‘காட்டாளன்’, தெலுங்கு, கன்னடம் மற்றும் ஹிந்தி மொழிகளிலும் வெளியாகவுள்ளது.

‘Kattalan’ Roars Into Theatres on May 28 – A Forest Thriller Packed with Action and Suspense!
After delivering the blockbuster success ‘Marco’ in 2024, producer Shareef Muhammed is gearing up for another ambitious cinematic venture with ‘Kattalan’, produced under the banner of Cubes Entertainments. The film is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on May 28, while GS Cinema International’s Lenin will distribute the film across Tamil Nadu.
Directed by Paul George, ‘Kattalan’ is an intense forest-based thriller that revolves around mysterious smuggling operations, survival battles, and high-voltage action unfolding deep inside the wilderness. Staying true to its title, the film promises a gripping cinematic experience loaded with suspense and edge-of-the-seat moments from beginning to end.
The film stars Antony Varghese in the lead role alongside Dushara Vijayan, Kabir Singh, Sunil, Siddique, Parth Tiwari, Raj Tirandasu, Harishankar Narayanan, Anson Paul, and Sandeep in pivotal performances.
One of the major highlights of the film is the presence of two real elephants, Pepsi and Ekaset, who play significant roles in the narrative. The makers have clarified that the animals were included only after obtaining all official permissions and strictly adhering to animal welfare guidelines, ensuring that no harm was caused during filming.
Music for the film has been composed by Ravi Basrur, widely celebrated for his powerful work in the ‘KGF’ franchise. Cinematography is handled by Rena Dive, while editing is done by Shameer Muhammed.
Simultaneously shot in Tamil and Malayalam, ‘Kattalan’ will also release in Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, strengthening its appeal as a full-fledged pan-Indian entertainer.
