Mumbai, India, 6th November 2026: From unexpected friendships and bitter rivalries to moments of triumph and crushing setbacks, life inside the Tower was never short of drama! After a journey filled with shifting fortunes, difficult choices and relentless challenges, MX Original Rise and Fall Season 2 has crowned Shehzad Poonawalla as its ultimate winner, taking home the coveted trophy along with the prize money of ₹35 lakh. Hosted by Virender Sehwag, the reality show brought together 15 celebrity contestants for a thrilling battle of strategy, resilience and survival, keeping audiences hooked as the game unfolded with one twist after another. Through every rise and fall, the contestants fought to hold their ground, seize power and make it to the very end, culminating in a grand finale that celebrated the season’s ultimate victor.
Inside the Tower, fortunes could change overnight and no one could afford to get too comfortable. The divide between the privileged Penthouse and the demanding Basement shaped the game, with Rulers striving to protect their position while Workers looked for their chance to rise. As contestants navigated the shifting dynamics, personal equations often collided with game strategies, leading to unexpected alliances, heated confrontations and difficult decisions. The two Takhta Palats brought sweeping changes to the Tower, turning the tables and giving the Workers their moment at the top. With every move capable of changing the course of the game, the season kept contestants and audiences on their toes until the race for the crown reached its final stretch.
The grand finale was a fitting spectacle, opening with electrifying performances by the Top 6 finalists, followed by a nostalgic reunion with the ex-contestants. But there was little room for nostalgia as the Fortune Floor Pyramid challenge sent Niharika Tiwari packing, narrowing the race to the Top 5. With Harsh Gujral bringing his signature wit to the celebrations and special appearances by the finalists’ family members adding an emotional touch, the night had plenty in store. The Tower lights soon turned red for Karan Patel and Swara Bhasker, leaving Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Gautam Gulati and Shehzad Poonawalla in the final showdown. Just when the finish line seemed within reach, one last twist put the crown up for a vote and when the Top 3 ended in a deadlock, the remaining contestants stepped in to deliver the final verdict. Gautam finished as the second runner-up, Priyanka as the first runner-up, while Shehzad Poonawalla emerged as the ultimate Ruler and winner of MX Original Rise and Fall Season 2.
