On one side is a young man brought up with traditional values, family expectations and certain boundaries. On the other is Diana, a free-spirited woman with an independent outlook towards life. When these two contrasting worlds collide, an unexpected love story unfolds, bringing with it romance, laughter, family conflicts and plenty of delightful confusion.

Rather than being just another romantic entertainer, ‘Anbe Diana’ explores relationships, cultural differences and the contrasting perspectives of families and generations. The film has been written, directed and headlined by Pari Elavazhagan, with Ramya Ranganathan playing the female lead.
