‘த்ரிஷ்யம் 3’ இந்தி ரீமேக் உரிமைக்கு சிக்கல்?

‘த்ரிஷ்யம் 3’ திரைப்படத்தின் இந்தி ரீமேக் தொடர்பான உரிமை விவகாரம் தற்போது நீதிமன்றத்தை எட்டியுள்ளது. மலையாளத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘த்ரிஷ்யம் 3’ படத்தின் இந்தி பதிப்பை வெளியிடுவதற்கும், அதனை வர்த்தக ரீதியாகப் பயன்படுத்துவதற்கும் தடை விதிக்கக் கோரி ராஜ்குமார் தியேட்டர்ஸ் பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் மனு தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளது.

ஸ்ரீப்ரியா சேதுபதி மற்றும் ராஜ்குமார் சேதுபதி தலைமையிலான ராஜ்குமார் தியேட்டர்ஸ் நிறுவனம், வைட் ஆங்கிள் கிரியேஷன்ஸ் உள்ளிட்டோருக்கு எதிராக இந்த வழக்கைத் தொடர்ந்துள்ளது. தங்களுடன் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ள ஒப்பந்தங்கள் மற்றும் அறிவுசார் சொத்துரிமைகளின் அடிப்படையில், ‘த்ரிஷ்யம் 3’ படத்தின் இந்தி பதிப்பு தொடர்பாக தங்களுக்கு உரிமைகள் இருப்பதாக மனுதாரர் தரப்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

வழக்கு விசாரணைக்கு வரும் நிலையில், இந்தி பதிப்பை உலகின் எந்தப் பகுதியிலும் வெளியிடுவது, விநியோகிப்பது, பயன்படுத்துவது அல்லது எந்த வகையிலும் வர்த்தக ரீதியாகப் பயன்படுத்துவது போன்ற நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கு இடைக்காலத் தடை விதிக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் மனுவில் கோரப்பட்டுள்ளது.

மோகன்லால் நடிப்பில் மலையாளத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘த்ரிஷ்யம்’ திரைப்படத் தொடரின் மூன்றாம் பாகத்தைத் தழுவி உருவாகும் இந்தி பதிப்பில் அஜய் தேவ்கன், தபு உள்ளிட்டோர் நடிக்கின்றனர். இப்படத்தை அபிஷேக் பதக் இயக்குகிறார்.

இந்த நிலையில், வழக்கு சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றத்தில் இன்று (செப்டம்பர் 29) நீதிபதி கே. குமரேஷ் பாபு முன்னிலையில் விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது. ராஜ்குமார் தியேட்டர்ஸ் சார்பில் மூத்த வழக்கறிஞர் கே. ரவி ஆஜரானார்.

மனுவை பரிசீலித்த நீதிமன்றம், எதிர்மனுதாரர்கள் தங்களது பதிலை தாக்கல் செய்வதற்காக வழக்கை அக்டோபர் 1-ம் தேதிக்கு ஒத்திவைத்துள்ளது. அன்றைய தினம் எதிர்மனுதாரர்களின் பதில் மற்றும் வழக்கின் அடுத்தகட்ட விசாரணை நடைபெறும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

‘த்ரிஷ்யம் 3’ இந்தி பதிப்பின் எதிர்கால வர்த்தகப் பயன்பாடு தொடர்பாக தங்களது ஒப்பந்த உரிமைகள் மற்றும் அறிவுசார் சொத்துரிமைகளைப் பாதுகாப்பதற்காகவே நீதிமன்றத்தை அணுகியுள்ளதாக ராஜ்குமார் தியேட்டர்ஸ் தரப்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்த வழக்கில் நீதிமன்றம் இறுதியாக என்ன முடிவு எடுக்கிறது என்பது அக்டோபர் 1-ம் தேதி நடைபெறும் அடுத்தகட்ட விசாரணைக்குப் பின்னர் தெரியவரும்.

 

‘Drishyam 3’ Hindi Remake Faces Legal Hurdle? Rajkumar Theatres Moves Madras High Court

The proposed Hindi remake of Drishyam 3 has landed in a legal dispute, with Rajkumar Theatres Private Limited approaching the Madras High Court seeking protection of its contractual and intellectual property rights.

The company, led by Sripriya Sethupathi and Rajkumar Sethupathi, has filed a petition against White Angle Creations and others, seeking an interim restraint on the release, distribution, commercial exploitation or any other use of the Hindi version of Drishyam 3 anywhere in the world, pending adjudication of the dispute.

The petition relates to the Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam film Drishyam 3. The Hindi version features Ajay Devgn and Tabu, among others, and is directed by Abhishek Pathak.

According to Rajkumar Theatres, the legal action has been initiated to safeguard its rights arising from contractual arrangements and intellectual property connected with the Hindi adaptation and its future commercial exploitation.

The matter came up for hearing before Justice K. Kumaresh Babu of the Madras High Court on September 29, 2026. Senior Advocate K. Ravi appeared on behalf of Rajkumar Theatres, instructed by M/s Rugan and Arya.

After hearing the matter, the court adjourned the case to October 1, 2026, to enable the respondents to file their response and for further consideration of the petition.

Rajkumar Theatres has maintained that the proceedings are aimed at protecting its contractual and intellectual property interests concerning the future commercial use of the Hindi version of Drishyam 3.

The next hearing on October 1 is expected to bring further clarity on the respondents’ stand and the court’s consideration of the relief sought by the petitioner.

For now, the legal dispute remains pending before the Madras High Court, and no final decision on the claims has been made.
