சென்னை: இயக்குநர் ராம் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘ஏழு கடல் ஏழு மலை’ திரைப்படம் அக்டோபர் 1-ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. இயக்குநர் ராமின் திரையுலகப் பயணத்தில் 20 ஆண்டுகள் நிறைவடையும் தருணத்தில் வெளியாகும் திரைப்படம் என்பதால், இப்படம் அவருக்கு கூடுதல் முக்கியத்துவம் பெற்றுள்ளது.

திரைப்படங்களின் எண்ணிக்கையை விட, அவை ஏற்படுத்திய தாக்கத்தையே தனது பயணத்தின் அளவுகோலாகக் கருதுவதாகக் கூறியுள்ள இயக்குநர் ராம், கடந்த இரண்டு தசாப்தங்களாக தன்னை இயக்குநராக மட்டுமல்லாமல் ஒரு மனிதராகவும் ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட ரசிகர்களுக்கு நெகிழ்ச்சியுடன் நன்றி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இது தொடர்பாக அவர் பேசுகையில், ‘ஏழு கடல் ஏழு மலை’ தனக்கு மற்றொரு திரைப்படம் மட்டுமல்ல என்றும், தனது 20 ஆண்டுகால திரையுலகப் பயணத்துடன் இணைந்திருக்கும் முக்கியமான படைப்பு என்றும் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

திரையுலகில் இரண்டு தசாப்தங்களை கடந்திருந்தாலும், தனது இயக்குநர் பயணத்தில் இதுவரை ஆறு திரைப்படங்களே உருவாகியிருப்பதாகக் குறிப்பிட்ட ராம், எண்ணிக்கை குறைவாக இருந்தாலும், ஒவ்வொரு படத்திற்கும் ரசிகர்கள் அளித்த வரவேற்பும், தன்னை ஒரு இயக்குநராகத் தாண்டி ஒரு மனிதராகப் புரிந்துகொண்டு அவர்கள் காட்டிய அன்பும் தனக்கு மிகப்பெரிய பலமாக இருந்ததாகத் தெரிவித்தார்.

“ஒரு இயக்குநரின் படைப்புகளை ரசிகர்கள் ரசிப்பது என்பது இயல்பான விஷயம். ஆனால், அந்தப் படைப்புகளுக்கு அப்பால் அந்த இயக்குநரையும் ஒரு மனிதராக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு அன்பு செலுத்துவது என்பது மிகப்பெரிய விஷயம். கடந்த 20 ஆண்டுகளில் ரசிகர்களிடமிருந்து நான் பெற்றிருக்கும் இந்த அன்பை மிகவும் மதிக்கிறேன்,” என்று ராம் கூறினார்.

தனது படைப்புகளை ரசித்தவர்களுக்கும், தனது கலைப் பயணத்தை தொடர்ந்து கவனித்து வந்தவர்களுக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவித்த அவர், ரசிகர்களின் ஆதரவு தனது பயணத்தில் தொடர்ந்து ஊக்கமளித்து வருவதாகவும் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

அக்டோபர் 1-ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகும் ‘ஏழு கடல் ஏழு மலை’ திரைப்படத்தை ரசிகர்களும் பொதுமக்களும் வழக்கம்போல் அன்புடன் வரவேற்பார்கள் என்ற நம்பிக்கையையும் அவர் வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.

“ஒரு திரைப்படம் உருவாகி திரையரங்கிற்கு வருவது மட்டுமே பயணத்தின் முடிவல்ல. அது மக்களைச் சென்றடையும் தருணத்தில்தான் அதன் அடுத்த கட்டம் தொடங்குகிறது. அந்த வகையில், ‘ஏழு கடல் ஏழு மலை’ படத்தையும் ரசிகர்கள் தங்களுடைய படமாக நினைத்து ஆதரிக்க வேண்டும்,” என்றார்.

கடந்த 20 ஆண்டுகளாக தன்னுடன் பயணித்த ரசிகர்கள், நண்பர்கள், திரைத்துறையினர் என அனைவரின் ஆதரவையும் நினைவுகூர்ந்த ராம், தன்னைப் பற்றிய ரசிகர்களின் ஒவ்வொரு வார்த்தைக்கும், அவர்கள் வழங்கும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆதரவுக்கும் தனிப்பட்ட மதிப்பு இருப்பதாகத் தெரிவித்தார்.
