லாஸ் ஏஞ்சல்ஸ் அகாடமி மியூசியத்தில் ‘ராமாயணா’ உலகளாவிய பிரீமியர் – அக்டோபர் 27-ல் பிரம்மாண்டத் திரையிடல்!

ரன்பீர் கபூர், யஷ், சாய் பல்லவி நடிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘ராமாயணா’ திரைப்படத்தின் உலகளாவிய பிரீமியர் அமெரிக்காவின் லாஸ் ஏஞ்சல்ஸில் நடைபெறவுள்ளது.

இந்தியாவின் புகழ்பெற்ற இதிகாசமான ராமாயணத்தை உலகத் திரையுலகின் கவனத்திற்குக் கொண்டு செல்லும் வகையில், ‘ராமாயணா’ திரைப்படத்தின் உலகளாவிய பிரீமியர் நிகழ்ச்சிக்கு ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. அக்டோபர் 27-ம் தேதி மாலை, அமெரிக்காவின் லாஸ் ஏஞ்சல்ஸில் உள்ள அகாடமி மியூசியம் ஆஃப் மோஷன் பிக்சர்ஸின் டேவிட் கெஃபென் திரையரங்கில் இப்படத்தின் சிறப்புத் திரையிடல் நடைபெறுகிறது.

அழைப்பின் அடிப்படையில் மட்டுமே அனுமதி வழங்கப்படும் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில், ஹாலிவுட் நட்சத்திரங்கள், சர்வதேசத் திரைப்பட இயக்குநர்கள், ஊடகப் பிரதிநிதிகள் மற்றும் திரையுலகின் முக்கியப் பிரமுகர்கள் பங்கேற்க உள்ளனர். சுமார் 945 பேர் அமரக்கூடிய அரங்கில், ‘ராமாயணா’ திரைப்படத்தின் 3D பிரீமியர் காட்சி திரையிடப்படவுள்ளது.

திரைப்படக் கலை, தொழில்நுட்பம் மற்றும் உலக சினிமாவின் வரலாற்றைப் போற்றும் அகாடமி மியூசியம், பல்வேறு சர்வதேசத் திரைப்பட நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கும் ஆஸ்கர் விருது தொடர்பான கொண்டாட்டங்களுக்கும் ஏற்கெனவே மேடையாக அமைந்துள்ளது. அந்தப் புகழ்பெற்ற அரங்கில் இந்திய இதிகாசத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்ட திரைப்படம் திரையிடப்படுவது, படக்குழுவினருக்கு முக்கியமான மைல்கல்லாக அமையவுள்ளது.

மேலும், தீபாவளிப் பண்டிகைக் காலத்தை முன்னிட்டு நடைபெறும் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் இந்தியப் பண்டிகையின் பாரம்பரியத்தையும் கலாசாரச் சிறப்பையும் வெளிப்படுத்த படக்குழுவினர் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளனர். இதன் ஒரு பகுதியாக, சிவப்புக் கம்பள வரவேற்பு நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்துகொள்ளும் விருந்தினர்கள் பாரம்பரிய இந்தியப் பண்டிகை உடைகளை அணிந்து வருமாறு கேட்டுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

இயக்குநர் நிதேஷ் திவாரி இயக்கத்தில் இரண்டு பாகங்களாக உருவாகும் ‘ராமாயணா’ திரைப்படத்தில், ரன்பீர் கபூர், ராக்கிங் ஸ்டார் யஷ் மற்றும் சாய் பல்லவி ஆகியோர் முக்கியக் கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். நமித் மல்ஹோத்ராவின் பிரைம் ஃபோகஸ் ஸ்டுடியோஸ் நிறுவனம், DNEG மற்றும் யஷ்ஷின் மான்ஸ்டர் மைண்ட் கிரியேஷன்ஸ் நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து இப்படத்தைத் தயாரித்துள்ளது. ஹாலிவுட் இசையமைப்பாளர் ஹான்ஸ் ஜிம்மர் மற்றும் இசைப்புயல் ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான் இணைந்து படத்திற்கு இசையமைத்துள்ளனர்.

Ranbir Kapoor and Yash’s ‘Ramayana’ to Premiere at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles on October 27!

Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rocking Star Yash and Sai Pallavi, the epic film ‘Ramayana’ is set to have its global premiere at the prestigious Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, USA.

Bringing India’s celebrated epic to the attention of international audiences, the makers of Ramayana have announced a grand global premiere on October 27. The special screening will take place at the David Geffen Theater at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, USA.

The invitation-only event is expected to welcome Hollywood celebrities, international filmmakers, members of the global media and prominent personalities from the film industry. The film’s 3D premiere screening will be held at the venue, which has a seating capacity of approximately 945.

Renowned for celebrating the history, art and technology of cinema, the Academy Museum has previously hosted several international film events and Oscar-related celebrations. Hosting the premiere of an ambitious Indian film inspired by one of the country’s most revered epics marks a significant milestone for the Ramayana team.

Coinciding with the Diwali festive season, the premiere will also bring a touch of Indian culture and festive traditions to Los Angeles. As part of the celebrations, guests attending the red-carpet event have been requested to wear traditional Indian festive attire.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is being developed as a grand two-part cinematic saga. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rocking Star Yash and Sai Pallavi in pivotal roles. It is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The film’s music is composed by legendary Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer and acclaimed Indian composer A. R. Rahman.

The first instalment of Ramayana is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, while the second part is slated to arrive during Diwali 2027. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, and will also be presented in IMAX.

Sony Pictures will handle the film’s international distribution outside India.
