The National award winning and International Emmy nominated filmmaker, took to his Instagram yesterday to share pictures of his divine visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
Madhvani’s upcoming release, _The Waking of a Nation_ is a historical thriller that follows the story of the before and aftermath of the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre and the Hunter Commission that was set up to investigate the same. The series is a poignant yet fast-paced inquiry into whether the horrific massacre was actually a conspiracy.
After a five year journey of bringing the show to life, Ram Madhvani, and co-producer Amita Madhvani, visited the Golden Temple to seek blessings, but also revisited the various landmarks that served as key locations during the filming of the show, including the Gobindgarh Fort, and the Kucha Korianwalla lane where the infamous crawling order was passed by General Dyer.
