நேசம் எண்டர்டெயின்மெண்ட், ஜிகேஎஸ் ப்ரோஸ் புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் மற்றும் ரோமியோ பிக்சர்ஸ் இணைந்து தயாரித்துள்ள ‘ஹபீபி’ திரைப்படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழா, சாதாரண சினிமா நிகழ்வை விட ஒரு சமூக உரையாடலாக மாறியது. இயக்குநர் மீரா கதிரவன் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படம், இஸ்லாமிய சமூகத்தின் வாழ்வியல், உறவுகள், இடம்பெயர்வு, குடும்ப உணர்வுகள் மற்றும் மனித நேயத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ளதாக நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்ற இயக்குநர்கள், நடிகர்கள், தொழில்நுட்ப கலைஞர்கள் அனைவரும் ஒரே குரலில் பாராட்டினர்.
கஸ்தூரி ராஜா, மாளவிகா மனோஜ் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ள இப்படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு விழாவில், இயக்குநர்கள் வெற்றிமாறன், மிஷ்கின், சேரன், ராம், அமீர், பா.ரஞ்சித், மகிழ் திருமேனி, சுசீந்திரன், பாண்டிராஜ் உள்ளிட்ட பல முன்னணி திரைப்பிரபலங்கள் கலந்துகொண்டது நிகழ்வின் முக்கிய அம்சமாக அமைந்தது.

நடிகர் பார்த்திபன், “அன்பை எந்த விலைக்கும் வாங்க முடியாது; அந்த அன்பை பேசும் படம் தான் ‘ஹபீபி’,” எனக் கூறியதுடன், வயதான மனிதர்களுக்கு அன்பும் உரையாடலும் எவ்வளவு அவசியம் என்பதை படத்தின் கரு நினைவூட்டுகிறது என்றார்.

இயக்குநர் வெற்றிமாறன், “இஸ்லாமிய சமூகத்தின் கனவுகள், இழப்புகள், வலிகள் அனைத்தையும் நேர்மையாக பதிவு செய்த முக்கியமான படம் இது,” என்றார்.
இயக்குநர் மிஷ்கின், “‘ஹபீபி’ என்பதை ஒரு மதத்திற்குள் அடைத்து பார்க்க முடியாது. நீண்ட நாட்களுக்கு பிறகு மனதை உருக்கும் காதல் திரைப்படம் பார்த்த உணர்வு கிடைத்தது,” என்று உணர்ச்சிபூர்வமாகப் பேசியார்.
இயக்குநர் அமீர், “தமிழ் சினிமா நீண்ட காலமாக கவனிக்க மறந்த ஒரு சமூகத்தின் குரலாக இந்த படம் இருக்கும்,” என்று குறிப்பிட்டார். மேலும், “இது இஸ்லாமியர்களுக்கான படம் மட்டும் அல்ல; தமிழ் சமூகத்திற்கான படம்,” என்ற அவரது கருத்து நிகழ்வில் பெரும் வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றது.
இயக்குநர் ராம், “‘ஹபீபி’ தமிழில் உருவாகும் முதல் அசல் தமிழ் இஸ்லாமிய சினிமா,” எனக் கூறி, வழக்கமான சினிமா சாயல்களை உடைக்கும் படமாக இது அமையும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையை வெளிப்படுத்தினார்.

இயக்குநர் மீரா கதிரவன், “மதம், சாதி எல்லைகளைத் தாண்டி மனிதமும் அன்பும் மேலானவை என்பதைத்தான் இந்தப் படம் பேசுகிறது. இந்தப் படத்தை நான் இயக்கவில்லை; இந்தப் படமே என்னை இயக்கியது,” என்று நெகிழ்ச்சியுடன் பேசினார்.

The audio launch event of ‘Habibi’, produced by Nesam Entertainment, GKS Bros Productions, and Romeo Pictures, turned into more than just a film function — it became a heartfelt social conversation. Directed by Meera Kathiravan, the film explores the lives, emotions, struggles, migration, family bonds, and humanity within the Islamic community. Filmmakers, actors, and technicians present at the event unanimously praised the film for its emotional depth and social relevance.
The event witnessed the presence of prominent personalities including filmmakers , , , , , , , , and , making the occasion a significant gathering of Tamil cinema voices.
Actor said, “Love is something that cannot be bought at any cost, and Habibi is a film that speaks about that love.” He also reflected on how the film highlights the emotional need for companionship and affection in people’s lives, especially in later years.
Director described the film as “not just a movie, but a documentation of a period and a community’s way of life.” He noted that the story addresses themes such as migrant workers leaving their homeland for survival, families living in separation, the decline of handloom livelihoods, and the collapse of joint family systems.
Director praised the film for honestly portraying the dreams, losses, and pain experienced within the Islamic community.
Filmmaker emotionally stated, “Habibi cannot be confined within the boundaries of religion. After a long time, I watched a love story that truly moved me to tears.”
Director remarked that the film gives voice to a community that Tamil cinema has largely overlooked for years. He added, “This is not just a film for Muslims; it is a film for Tamil society as a whole.”
Director called Habibi “the first authentic Tamil Islamic cinema,” adding that it breaks away from stereotypical portrayals usually associated with Muslim characters in films.
Actor shared that he was still emotionally affected by the film even after watching it, while director described the movie as “a novel unfolding on screen, where the audience cannot predict what comes next.”
Music composer said that composing music for such a gentle and emotionally rich story amidst an era dominated by violent films was a unique experience. He also predicted major recognition for ’s performance in the film.
Speaking at the event, said, “I have never acted before, but Meera Kathiravan trusted me with this role. This film reminds us that being human is the only true identity.”
Director concluded emotionally, saying, “This film speaks about love and humanity beyond religion and caste. I did not direct this film — this film directed me.”
