வடசென்னையை மையமாக வைத்து, அங்குள்ள மக்களின் இயல்பான வாழ்க்கை முறையையும் குடும்ப உறவுகளையும் உணர்வுப்பூர்வமாக பதிவு செய்யும் புதிய திரைப்படமான “ஆல் பாஸ்” படத்தின் முழு படப்பிடிப்பும் வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவு பெற்றுள்ளது. வழக்கமாக வடசென்னை என்றாலே வன்முறை, ரத்தம், பகை, கத்திக்குத்து போன்ற கோணங்களில் மட்டுமே சித்தரிக்கப்பட்ட நிலையில், அதிலிருந்து முற்றிலும் மாறுபட்ட அணுகுமுறையுடன் இந்தப் படம் உருவாகியுள்ளது என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
ஒன்ஸ் ஸ்டெப் என்டர்டெயின்மெண்ட் நிறுவனம் சார்பில் மோகனா ஆர் தயாரித்துள்ள இந்தப் படத்தை இயக்குநர் மைதீன் கதை, திரைக்கதை, வசனம் எழுதி இயக்கியுள்ளார். வாழ்க்கையின் நெருக்கடியிலும் மனித உறவுகளின் வெப்பத்தையும் நகைச்சுவையையும் இணைத்து சொல்லும் குடும்ப சென்டிமெண்ட் கதையாக இப்படம் உருவாகியுள்ளது.
‘நிறங்கள் மூன்று’, ‘தருணம்’ போன்ற படங்களில் நடித்த துஷ்யந்த் கதாநாயகனாக நடித்துள்ள நிலையில், ‘பிக் பாஸ்’ மூலம் ரசிகர்களிடையே பிரபலமானதுடன் ‘லியோ’ திரைப்படத்தில் கவனம் பெற்ற ஜனனி கதாநாயகியாக நடித்துள்ளார்.
மேலும் ஜெயப்பிரகாஷ், செந்திகுமாரி, இயக்குநர் சுப்பிரமணிய சிவா, வினோதினி, பிரசன்ன பாலச்சந்திரன், மோகனா ஆர், சத்யா உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். சஞ்சய், கோகுல், நிகில் ஆகிய மூவரும் படத்தின் கதையோட்டத்தில் முக்கிய திருப்பங்களை ஏற்படுத்தும் கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்திருப்பதாக கூறப்படுகிறது.
‘பாண்டியநாடு’, ‘எதிர்நீச்சல்’ போன்ற படங்கள் மூலம் கவனம் பெற்ற சரத் லோகித்ஷவா இப்படத்தில் வில்லனாக நடித்துள்ளார். அதேபோல் ‘பாபநாசம்’ படத்தில் வில்லன் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்த ரோஷன் பஷீர் மற்றும் ‘பைசன்’ திரைப்படத்தில் கவனம் ஈர்த்த அருவி மதன் ஆகியோரும் முக்கிய வேடங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.
இயக்குநர்கள் மூர்த்தி மற்றும் கலையரசன் கண்ணுசாமி ஆகியோர் இப்படத்தில் நகைச்சுவை கலந்த கதாபாத்திரங்களில் தோன்றி ரசிகர்களை கவர உள்ளனர்.
‘கலகத் தலைவன்’, ‘அண்ணாதுரை’, ‘தகராறு’ உள்ளிட்ட படங்களில் பணியாற்றிய ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் தில்ராஜு இப்படத்திற்கு ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். ‘சுப்ரமணியபுரம்’ மூலம் தமிழ் ரசிகர்களின் மனதில் தனி இடம் பிடித்த இசையமைப்பாளர் ஜேம்ஸ் வசந்தன் இசையமைத்துள்ளார். பாடல்களுக்கு மோகன் ராஜன் வரிகள் எழுதியுள்ளார்.

படம் குறித்து இயக்குநர் மைதீன் கூறுகையில்,
“வடசென்னை மக்களின் வாழ்க்கையை அவர்கள் எப்படி உண்மையில் வாழ்கிறார்களோ அதே உணர்வில் பதிவு செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதே எங்கள் நோக்கம். இதுவரை திரையில் அதிகமாக பார்க்காத ஒரு வடசென்னையை இந்தப் படம் காட்டும். குடும்ப உறவுகள், மனித உணர்வுகள், நட்பு, அன்பு ஆகியவற்றை மையமாகக் கொண்டு இந்தக் கதை உருவாகியுள்ளது.
இந்தக் கதையின் நம்பகத்தன்மையை காக்கும் வகையில், 45 நாட்கள் முழுவதும் வடசென்னை மற்றும் அதன் சுற்றுப்புற பகுதிகளிலேயே படப்பிடிப்பை நடத்தினோம். தற்போது படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவடைந்துள்ள நிலையில், இறுதிக்கட்ட பணிகள் வேகமாக நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. விரைவில் பிரம்மாண்டமான இசை வெளியீட்டு விழாவையும் நடத்த திட்டமிட்டுள்ளோம்” என்றார்.
வடசென்னையின் உண்மை வாழ்வியலை புதிய கோணத்தில் பேச வரும் “ஆல் பாஸ்” திரைப்படம் ரசிகர்களிடையே ஏற்கனவே எதிர்பார்ப்பை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.
“‘All Pass’ Wraps Shoot — A Refreshing Film That Showcases the Real Life of North Chennai!”
The shooting of “All Pass”, a new Tamil film that authentically portrays the lifestyle, emotions, and family bonds of the people of North Chennai, has been successfully completed. Unlike the usual portrayal of North Chennai in Tamil cinema through violence, bloodshed, rivalry, and crime, this film takes a completely different approach by highlighting the realistic and emotional side of its people and culture.
Produced by Mohana R under the banner of One Step Entertainment, the film is written and directed by Maideen, who has also handled the story, screenplay, and dialogues. The movie is said to be a family sentiment drama blended with emotions, humor, and relatable human relationships.
Actor Dushyanth, known for films like Nirangal Moondru and Tharunam, plays the lead role, while Janani, who became popular through Bigg Boss and gained attention for her role in Leo, stars as the female lead.
The film also features a strong supporting cast including Jayaprakash, Senthikumari, director Subramania Siva, Vinodhini, Prasanna Balachandran, Mohana R, Sathya, and others. Sanjay, Gokul, and Nikhil are said to play impactful characters that add major twists to the story.
Popular actor Sharath Lohitashwa, known for films like Pandianadu and Ethir Neechal, plays the antagonist in the movie. Roshan Basheer, who impressed audiences in Papanasam, and Aruvi Madhan, who was noticed for his role in Bison, also play important characters.
Directors Moorthy and Kalaiyarasan Kannusamy appear in entertaining comic roles that are expected to add flavor to the film.
Cinematography for the film is handled by Dilraj, known for movies such as Kalaga Thalaivan, Annadurai, and Thagaraaru. Music is composed by James Vasanthan, the composer who became immensely popular through Subramaniapuram. Lyrics are penned by renowned lyricist Mohan Rajan.
Editing is done by S. Basker of Pasanga fame, while Jayaseelan T has worked as the art director. Popular choreographer I. Radhika has handled the dance sequences, and the stunt scenes are choreographed by Metro Mahesh.
Speaking about the film, director Maideen said:
“Our intention was to portray the people of North Chennai as they truly are in real life. Tamil cinema has mostly shown only the violent side of North Chennai so far. For the first time, we are presenting a film that focuses on the realistic lifestyle, emotions, affection, and relationships of its people.
Since the story is deeply rooted in North Chennai, we completed the entire 45-day shoot in and around the locality itself to maintain authenticity. With the shooting now wrapped up, the post-production work is progressing rapidly. We are also planning to host a grand audio launch event very soon.”
With its fresh perspective and emotionally grounded storytelling, “All Pass” has already started generating strong expectations among audiences and cinema lovers.
