Acclaimed Malayalam film Bramayugam has added another milestone to its remarkable journey by winning two prestigious honours at the 72nd National Film Awards (2024). Produced by Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios, the film secured awards for Best Actor (Leading Role) for Mammootty and Best Cinematography for Shehnad Jalal.
Mammootty’s extraordinary portrayal of Kodumon Potti earned widespread appreciation from audiences and critics alike, while Shehnad Jalal’s striking black-and-white cinematography played a pivotal role in shaping the film’s haunting visual identity.
