100 புதிய முகங்கள்… யுவன் ஷங்கர் ராஜாவின் இசை… ஜோஜு ஜார்ஜின் அடுத்த அதிரடி ‘பரிபாடி’!

மலையாளத் திரையுலகில் நடிகராகவும் இயக்குநராகவும் கவனம் ஈர்த்து வரும் ஜோஜு ஜார்ஜ், தனது அடுத்த படைப்பான ‘பரிபாடி’ மூலம் மீண்டும் ரசிகர்களைச் சந்திக்கத் தயாராகி வருகிறார். இப்படத்தின் ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக் போஸ்டர் தற்போது அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக வெளியாகியுள்ளது. பிரம்மாண்டமான பொருட்செலவில் உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படம், வரும் டிசம்பர் மாதம் உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகவுள்ளது.
2024-ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியான ‘பனி’ திரைப்படத்தின் வெற்றிக்குப் பிறகு, ஜோஜு ஜார்ஜ் எழுதி இயக்கும் இரண்டாவது திரைப்படம் ‘பரிபாடி’. காவ்யா ஃபிலிம் கம்பெனி சார்பில் வேணு குன்னப்பள்ளி இப்படத்தைத் தயாரித்துள்ளார். ஜோஜு ஜார்ஜ் கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்கும் இப்படத்தில், சுமார் 100 புதிய நடிகர்கள் முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரங்களில் அறிமுகமாகின்றனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
திருச்சூரைப் பின்னணியாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படத்தின் பெரும்பாலான காட்சிகள் சாலக்குடியில் படமாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. படத்தில் பங்கேற்றுள்ள புதிய நடிகர்களுக்கு சுமார் நான்கு மாதங்கள் சிறப்புப் பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்பட்ட பின்னரே படப்பிடிப்பு தொடங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும், அறிமுகமாகும் அனைத்து நடிகர்களுக்கும் வசனங்களுடன் கூடிய முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இதன் மூலம் வழக்கமான திரைப்பட அனுபவத்திலிருந்து மாறுபட்ட ஒன்றை ரசிகர்களுக்கு வழங்கப் படக்குழு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.

தென்னிந்தியாவின் பிரபல சண்டைப் பயிற்சி இயக்குநர்களான அன்பறிவ் மாஸ்டர்ஸ் இப்படத்தின் சண்டைக் காட்சிகளை வடிவமைத்துள்ளனர். மனு ஆண்டனி படத்தொகுப்பையும், அஜயன் அதத் ஒலி வடிவமைப்பையும் மேற்கொள்கின்றனர். சாபு மோகன் தயாரிப்பு வடிவமைப்பாளராகவும், ஜயன் நம்பியார் கிரியேட்டிவ் தயாரிப்பாளராகவும் பணியாற்றுகின்றனர். சமீரா சனீஷ் ஆடை வடிவமைப்பைக் கவனிக்க, ஷமீர் ஷாம் ஒப்பனையையும், என்.ஜி. ரோஷன் செயற்கை ஒப்பனையையும் மேற்கொள்கின்றனர். படத்தின் விஷுவல் எஃபெக்ட்ஸ் பணிகளை லிட்டில் ஹிப்போ நிறுவனம் மேற்கொள்கிறது.

Joju George’s ‘Paripadi’ First Look Unveiled; Yuvan Shankar Raja Makes His Malayalam Music Debut
Featuring around 100 newcomers, the big-budget film is set for a worldwide theatrical release in December across five languages.
Malayalam actor-filmmaker Joju George is gearing up for his next directorial venture, Paripadi, following the success of his 2024 film Pani. The makers have officially unveiled the film’s first-look poster, raising expectations for this ambitious project, which is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in December.
Written and directed by Joju George, Paripadi marks his second directorial venture after Pani. The film is produced by Venu Kunnappilly under the banner of Kavya Film Company. Joju George plays the lead role, while approximately 100 newcomers will be introduced in significant speaking roles.
Set against the backdrop of Thrissur, the film was primarily shot in Chalakudy. In preparation for their roles, the newcomers underwent nearly four months of specialised training before facing the camera. All 100 newcomers have been given important characters with dialogues, making their participation a significant aspect of the film.
The makers are aiming to deliver a distinctive cinematic experience with Paripadi, which has been mounted on a grand scale. Post-production work is currently progressing at a brisk pace.
The film brings together several acclaimed technicians from Indian cinema. Renowned cinematographer Rajeev Ravi handles the cinematography, while celebrated Tamil composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music. The project marks Yuvan Shankar Raja’s debut as a music composer in Malayalam cinema.
Popular South Indian stunt choreographers Anbariv Masters have designed the film’s action sequences. Manu Antony is in charge of editing, while Ajayan Adat handles sound design. Sabu Mohan serves as the production designer, and Jayan Nambiar is the creative producer.
The technical team also includes Sameera Saneesh as costume designer, Shameer Sham as makeup artist, and N.G. Roshan for prosthetic makeup. The visual effects are being handled by Little Hippo.
Kavya Film Company, known for backing successful films such as Malikappuram, 2018, Rekhachithram and Aadu 3, is producing this ambitious venture.
Paripadi will be released in five languages — Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. With Joju George at the helm, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music, Rajeev Ravi’s cinematography, action sequences by Anbariv Masters and a cast featuring around 100 newcomers, the film is shaping up to be one of the anticipated Malayalam releases of December.
