Written & composed by Mansimran and produced by Hiten, the song blends smooth melodies with an infectious rhythmic flow, gradually building into a more intense, almost spiritual space. At its core, Deewani Mastani, romanticises a kind of love that feels almost unreal, yet impossible to let go of, where a single moment with them brings an unexpected sense of calm. As the track unfolds, its qawwali-inspired progression adds emotional weight, transforming longing into complete surrender.
Speaking about the release, Mansimran Sandhu shares, “Deewani Mastani comes from a real place. It’s about surrendering to a kind of love you can’t control, something that feels almost unreal. I think everyone has felt this at some point of their lives where everything else fades and it’s just that one person on your mind. I wanted the song to feel exactly like that, honest and a little overwhelming.”
Currently based in Chicago, Mansimran Sandhu first gained attention with his appearance on the reality show Rising Star, where he performed in front of leading industry names, including his idol Diljit Dosanjh. With tracks like Tere Piche, Milde Milde, and Huzoor Ji, he has been steadily building a sound that blends contemporary production with emotive storytelling and Deewani Mastani marks a deeper, more immersive turn in his musical journey.
