வாய்ப்புக்காகப் பல இடங்களில் ஏறி இறங்கியவர், இன்று ஒரு திரைப்படத்தையே உருவாக்கி அதன் கதாநாயகியாகவும் மேடையில் நிற்கிறார். தான் சந்தித்த நிராகரிப்புகளையும் ஏமாற்றங்களையும் வெற்றிக்கான படிக்கட்டுகளாக மாற்றியிருக்கும் ஆர்னிகா, ‘லவ் 3.ஓ’ படத்தின் மோஷன் போஸ்டர் வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் பேசியபோது கண்கலங்கினார்.

“அன்று எனக்கு வாய்ப்பு கொடுக்காதவர்களுக்குத்தான் இன்று நன்றி சொல்ல வேண்டும்” என்ற அவரது வார்த்தைகள் நிகழ்ச்சியில் கவனம் பெற்றன.

இன்ஸ்டாகிராமில் ‘ரீல்ஸ் அக்கா’ என்று அறியப்படும் ஆர்னிகா, தற்போது ‘லவ் 3.ஓ’ படத்தின் மூலம் இயக்குநராகவும் கதாநாயகியாகவும் திரையுலகில் புதிய பயணத்தைத் தொடங்கியிருக்கிறார். நடிப்பதற்கான வாய்ப்புகளைத் தேடிச் சென்றவர், இன்று கதை, திரைக்கதை, வசனம், பாடல்கள், கலை இயக்கம், உடை அலங்காரம், இணைத் தயாரிப்பு எனப் பல பொறுப்புகளை ஏற்றிருப்பது அவரது பயணத்தில் முக்கியமான திருப்பம்.

காதலுக்கு ஒரு புதிய கோணம்… AI பெண்ணை காதலிக்கும் நாயகன்!

காதல் என்ற உணர்வு காலத்துக்கு ஏற்ப மாறிக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறது. தொண்ணூறுகளில் காதல் எப்படி இருந்தது? 2000-க்குப் பிறகு வளர்ந்த தலைமுறை காதலை எப்படிப் பார்க்கிறது? எதிர்காலத்தில் காதலின் வடிவம் எப்படி மாறும்? இத்தகைய கேள்விகளை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியிருக்கிறது ‘லவ் 3.ஓ’.

இந்தப் படத்தின் கதையில் செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவுக்கு (AI) முக்கிய இடம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. AI பெண்ணைக் கதாநாயகன் காதலிக்கிறான். அந்தக் காதல் திருமணத்தில் முடிகிறதா, அல்லது பிரிவில் முடிகிறதா என்பதுடன், காதல் தொடர்பான பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு சிவபெருமான் என்ன தீர்வு சொல்கிறார் என்பதையும் சுவாரஸ்யமாகக் காட்சிப்படுத்த முயன்றிருக்கிறார்கள்.

தகவல்களைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ளும் முறையில் தாத்தா, பாட்டி சொன்ன கதைகள் தொடங்கி வானொலி, தொலைக்காட்சி, யூடியூப், இன்ஸ்டாகிராம் எனப் பல மாற்றங்கள் நிகழ்ந்துள்ளன. இன்றைய காலத்தில் செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவுடன் மனிதர்கள் உரையாடும் சூழல் உருவாகியிருக்கிறது. இந்தத் தொழில்நுட்ப மாற்றங்களும் மனித உணர்வுகளும் காதலும் சந்திக்கும் புள்ளியைப் படத்தின் கதைக்களமாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் ஆர்னிகா.

“ஆயிரம் ஆடிஷன்களுக்குப் போயிருப்பேன்!”

படத்தின் மோஷன் போஸ்டர் வெளியீடு மற்றும் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பு சென்னையிலுள்ள பிரசாத் லேபில் நடைபெற்றது. நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய ஆர்னிகா, தான் கடந்து வந்த பாதையை நினைவுகூர்ந்தபோது உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட்டார்.

“வாய்ப்புக்காக ஏழு ஆண்டுகளாகப் போராடியிருக்கிறேன். கிட்டத்தட்ட ஆயிரம் ஆடிஷன்களுக்குப் போயிருப்பேன். மூக்கை அறுவை சிகிச்சை செய்துகொண்டு வரச் சொன்னார்கள். ஒரு குறும்படத்தில் நடிப்பதற்குக்கூட இரண்டு ஆண்டுகள் தொடர்ந்து வாய்ப்புக் கேட்டு அலைந்திருக்கிறேன்” என்று தனது அனுபவங்களைப் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டார்.

ஒரு கன்டென்ட் வீடியோவில் சில வசனங்கள் பேசுவதற்குக்கூட மணிக்கணக்கில் உழைத்ததாகக் குறிப்பிட்ட அவர், தனக்குத் திறமையை வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்கான சரியான வாய்ப்புகள் கிடைத்திருந்தால் தனது பயணம் வேறுவிதமாக இருந்திருக்கலாம் என்றும் தெரிவித்தார்.

ஆனால், அந்த வாய்ப்புகள் கிடைக்காததைத் தோல்வியாகப் பார்க்காமல், தானே தனக்கான வாய்ப்பை உருவாக்கிக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்ற முடிவுக்கு வந்ததாகக் கூறினார்.

“அன்று யாராவது ஒரு சின்ன வாய்ப்பைக் கொடுத்திருந்தால்கூட இன்று நான் இத்தனை பொறுப்புகளை ஏற்றிருக்க வேண்டியிருக்காது. ஆனால், இப்போது திரும்பிப் பார்க்கும்போது வாய்ப்பு கொடுக்காதவர்களுக்குத்தான் நன்றி சொல்ல வேண்டும் என்று தோன்றுகிறது. அந்த அனுபவங்கள்தான் என்னை இந்த இடத்துக்குக் கொண்டு வந்திருக்கின்றன” என்ற அவரது பேச்சு, வாய்ப்புக்காகக் காத்திருக்கும் பலரின் போராட்டத்தை நினைவுபடுத்தியது.

“நமக்கு வேண்டியதை நாம்தான் உருவாக்க வேண்டும்!”

வாழ்க்கையில் சில விஷயங்கள் தாமதமாக நடப்பதற்குப் பின்னாலும் நல்ல காரணம் இருக்கலாம் என்று நம்புவதாகக் கூறிய ஆர்னிகா, மற்றவர்கள் உதவிக்கு வருவார்கள் என்று காத்திருக்காமல் நாமே முயற்சி செய்ய வேண்டும் என்பதை வலியுறுத்தினார்.

“நமக்கு ஒன்று தேவைப்படுகிறது என்றால், அதை அடைவதற்கான முயற்சியை நாம்தான் எடுக்க வேண்டும். யாரும் நமக்காகப் போராட வரமாட்டார்கள். நமக்கு என்ன வேண்டுமோ, அதற்காக நாம்தான் போராட வேண்டும். இன்று ஒரு நடிகையாகவும் இயக்குநராகவும் இந்த மேடையில் நிற்பதையே நான் வெற்றியாக நினைக்கிறேன்” என்றார்.

தனது முதல் படத்தில் குறைகள் இருக்கலாம் என்றும், அனுபவத்தின் மூலம் அவற்றைச் சரிசெய்துகொண்டு அடுத்தடுத்த முயற்சிகளில் முன்னேறுவோம் என்றும் அவர் வெளிப்படையாகக் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

 

இன்ஸ்டாகிராமில் தங்களது ரீல்ஸ்களைப் பார்த்து ஆதரவு அளித்த ரசிகர்கள், திரைப்படத்துக்கும் ஆதரவு தருவார்கள் என்ற நம்பிக்கையையும் அவர் வெளிப்படுத்தினார்.

“என்னைப் போல வாய்ப்புக்காக அலைந்தவர்களின் வலி எனக்குத் தெரியும். எனக்கு ஒரு வெற்றி வாய்ப்பைக் கொடுத்தால், என்னைப் போல வெளியே இருக்கும் பல திறமைசாலிகளுக்கும் வாய்ப்புகளை உருவாக்கித் தருவேன். அதற்காக எனக்கு ஒரு சின்ன வாய்ப்பைக் கொடுங்கள்” என்று அவர் கேட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

இன்ஸ்டாகிராம் பிரபலங்கள் இணையும் படம்

‘லவ் 3.ஓ’ படத்தில் ஆர்னிகாவுடன் கோயம்புத்தூர் மாப்ள, கே.என். ஸ்மைலி என்ற பெயரில் அறியப்படும் கார்த்திகேயன் ஆகிய இன்ஸ்டாகிராம் பிரபலங்களும் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். தயாரிப்பாளர் சிவகுமாரும் படத்தில் முக்கியமான வேடத்தில் நடித்திருக்கிறார்.

வேதை பா. மகேஷ் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்ய, வைகுந்த் ஸ்ரீனிவாசன் இசையமைத்துள்ளார். அரவிந்த் படத்தொகுப்புப் பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார். பிரசன்ன குமார் நிர்வாகத் தயாரிப்பாளராகப் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். மங்கி மைண்ட்ஸ் என்டர்டெய்ன்மென்ட் சார்பில் சிவகுமார் இப்படத்தைத் தயாரித்துள்ளார்.

“Thank You to Those Who Denied Me Opportunities!” — Love 3.O Director Arnica Breaks Down at Motion Poster Launch

Seven years, nearly 1,000 auditions, and a journey from struggling for opportunities to becoming an actress and director!

After years of searching for opportunities and facing rejection, Arnica is now making her mark in the film industry with Love 3.O. At the film’s motion poster launch and press meet in Chennai, the debut director became emotional while recalling her struggles, thanking those who had turned her down and explaining how their rejection pushed her to create her own opportunities.

“Today, I have to thank the people who refused to give me opportunities,” she said, as she struggled to hold back her tears.

Known on Instagram as “Reels Akka,” Arnica has taken on multiple responsibilities in Love 3.O. Apart from playing the female lead and directing the film, she has also handled the story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics, art direction, costume design and co-production.

Love Across Three Generations — With AI at the Heart of the Story

Love changes with time, and Love 3.O explores how different generations understand and experience it. The film examines the nature of romance in the 1990s, among the generation that grew up in the 2000s, and in a future shaped by technological advancements.

One of the film’s central ideas is the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence (AI). The story follows a male protagonist who falls in love with an AI woman. Whether their relationship leads to marriage or separation forms a key part of the narrative.

The film also brings Lord Shiva into the storyline, exploring what solution he offers after witnessing the various love-related problems unfolding in the world.

Speaking about the film’s concept, Arnica explained how the way people access information has evolved over the years — from stories shared by grandparents and conversations with friends to radio, television, YouTube, Instagram and, more recently, ChatGPT.

She believes that as people increasingly share their thoughts and emotions with AI, a new kind of emotional connection is emerging. This changing relationship between technology and human feelings forms a key element of Love 3.O.

The team chose to unveil the motion poster rather than screen footage from the film at the event, as AI plays a significant role in its content.

“I Must Have Attended Nearly 1,000 Auditions!”

The film’s motion poster launch and press meet were held at Prasad Labs in Chennai. During the event, Arnica opened up about the challenges she faced while trying to enter the film industry.

“I spent seven years looking for opportunities. I must have attended nearly 1,000 auditions,” she said.

Recalling some of her difficult experiences, she revealed that she had been asked to undergo nose surgery and return for a photoshoot before being considered for opportunities.

She also spoke about pursuing a short-film opportunity for nearly two years, only to face repeated delays.

Even for short content videos, she said, she would spend hours working on a few lines of dialogue, hoping to get an opportunity to showcase her talent.

Looking back, Arnica wondered how differently her career might have progressed if someone had offered her a meaningful opportunity when she was struggling to get noticed.

However, rather than allowing those rejections to discourage her, she chose to turn them into motivation.

“If someone had given me even a small opportunity back then, I might not have had to take on so many responsibilities today. But when I look back now, I feel I should thank those who denied me opportunities. Those experiences have helped bring me to where I am today,” she said emotionally.

“If We Want Something, We Must Create It Ourselves”

Arnica said that delays and setbacks in life can sometimes lead to unexpected opportunities. She emphasised the importance of taking responsibility for one’s ambitions instead of waiting for others to offer help.

“If we want something in life, we must make the effort to achieve it ourselves. No one is going to come and fight our battles for us. Whatever we want to accomplish, we must be willing to struggle for it. Today, standing on this stage as an actress and director is itself a victory for me,” she said.

Acknowledging that her debut film might have certain shortcomings, Arnica added that she and her team would learn from their experiences and work towards improving with each project.

She also expressed confidence that the audience who had supported her Instagram reels would extend the same encouragement to her film.

“I know what it feels like to search endlessly for opportunities. If I get a chance to succeed, I want to bring many other talented people who are still waiting outside the industry into it. I request everyone to give me a small opportunity to prove myself,” she said.

Her emotional speech highlighted the challenges faced by aspiring artists and her determination to create opportunities for others who have experienced similar struggles.

Instagram Creators Come Together for Love 3.O

Apart from Arnica, the film features popular Instagram personalities Coimbatore Mapla and K.N. Smiley, also known as Karthikeyan, in prominent roles. Producer Sivakumar has also acted in an important character.

The film has cinematography by Vedhai P. Mahesh, music by Vaikund Srinivasan and editing by Aravind. Prasanna Kumar serves as the executive producer.

The motion poster launch and press meet were attended by several film industry personalities, including director R.V. Udayakumar, Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association; director Perarasu, the association’s Treasurer; actress Vanitha Vijayakumar; and actor Cool Suresh. The special guests joined the film’s cast and crew in celebrating the project.
