அக்டோபர் 1 முதல் திரையரங்குகளில் ‘பத்தா’ – விஜய் சேதுபதி, பாலாஜி தரணிதரன் கூட்டணியில் மீண்டும் ஒரு வித்தியாசமான பயணம்

தமிழ் சினிமாவில் கதைகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுப்பதில் தனக்கென ஒரு பாதையை உருவாக்கி வரும் மக்கள் செல்வன் விஜய் சேதுபதி, தற்போது ‘பத்தா’ திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் ரசிகர்களை சந்திக்கத் தயாராகியுள்ளார். இயக்குநர் அட்லி வழங்கும் இப்படம் அக்டோபர் 1ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.

‘பத்தா’ திரைப்படத்தின் மீது கவனம் குவிய முக்கிய காரணங்களில் ஒன்று, விஜய் சேதுபதி – இயக்குநர் பாலாஜி தரணிதரன் கூட்டணி மீண்டும் இணைந்திருப்பதுதான். ஏற்கனவே இவர்களது கூட்டணியில் உருவான ‘நடுவுல கொஞ்சம் பக்கத்த காணோம்’, ‘சீதக்காதி’ ஆகிய இரு படங்களும் வழக்கமான கதைக்களத்திலிருந்து விலகி தனித்துவமான திரை அனுபவத்தை ரசிகர்களுக்கு வழங்கியிருந்தன.

‘பத்தா’ படத்தின் மீதான எதிர்பார்ப்புக்கு மற்றொரு முக்கிய காரணம் இயக்குநர் அட்லியின் பங்களிப்பு. அட்லி இயக்கிய ‘ஜவான்’ திரைப்படத்தில் விஜய் சேதுபதி முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்திருந்தார். அந்த கூட்டணிக்கு கிடைத்த வரவேற்பைத் தொடர்ந்து, தற்போது அட்லி வழங்கும் படத்தில் விஜய் சேதுபதி கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்கிறார்.

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, known for his distinctive choice of films and versatile performances, is all set to meet audiences with his upcoming film ‘Baththa’. Presented by filmmaker Atlee, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 1.

One of the major reasons behind the growing anticipation for ‘Baththa’ is the reunion of Vijay Sethupathi and director Balaji Tharaneetharan. The duo has previously collaborated on ‘Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom’ and ‘Seethakathi’, two films that earned appreciation for their unconventional storytelling and distinctive cinematic treatment.

Strong Technical Team Behind the Film

Lijomol Jose, who earned widespread recognition for her performance in ‘Jai Bhim’, plays the female lead in the film.

The music for ‘Baththa’ has been composed by Sai Abhyankkar, one of the young music composers who has quickly captured the attention of the current generation. Selvakumar SK handles the cinematography, while R. Kalaivanan is the editor. Production design is by T. Muthuraj, with Ashwin Murugan serving as Co-Producer.

The film is produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, Alok Jain and Ajit Andhare. Presented by Star Studio18 and filmmaker Atlee, ‘Baththa’ is jointly produced by A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios Production.
