மெகா பவர் ஸ்டார் ராம் சரண் நடிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள பிரம்மாண்ட விளையாட்டு பின்னணித் திரைப்படமான ‘பெத்தி’, வெளியாகும் முன்பே ரசிகர்களிடையே பெரும் எதிர்பார்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இதன் ஒரு பகுதியாக சென்னையில் நடைபெற்ற பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பில் கலந்து கொண்ட படக்குழுவினர், திரைப்படம் குறித்த தங்களது அனுபவங்களையும் நம்பிக்கைகளையும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர்.
இயக்குநர் புச்சி பாபு சனா இயக்கத்தில், தயாரிப்பாளர் வெங்கட சதீஷ் கிலாரு தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படம், ஒரு கிராஸ்ஓவர் தடகள வீரரின் வாழ்க்கைப் போராட்டம், கனவு மற்றும் வெற்றிப் பயணத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ளது. கிராமத்து மண்வாசனையுடன் விளையாட்டு, உணர்வு, ஆக்ஷன் மற்றும் மனித உறவுகளை இணைத்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ள இந்தப் படம், பான்-இந்தியா அளவில் ஜூன் 4ஆம் தேதி வெளியாகிறது.

The much-anticipated sports drama ‘Peddi’, starring Mega Power Star Ram Charan, continues to generate massive buzz ahead of its release. At a grand press conference held in Chennai, the film’s cast and crew shared their experiences and expressed strong confidence in the project.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi revolves around the inspiring journey of a crossover athlete, blending sports, emotions, action, and human relationships against a vibrant rural backdrop. The pan-Indian film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 4.
Speaking at the event, cinematographer R. Rathnavelu said that Peddi would stand alongside the most important films of his career. He praised Ram Charan’s extraordinary commitment to the role, highlighting the physical and emotional transformation the actor underwent for the character. According to him, the film will offer audiences a deeply immersive theatrical experience while leaving a lasting impact long after they leave the cinema hall.
Actor Divyenndu Sharma, who makes his Telugu cinema debut with Peddi, described the film as a significant milestone in his career. He noted that the project allowed him to step out of his comfort zone and explore new dimensions as an actor. He also expressed gratitude to Buchi Babu Sana, Ram Charan, and the entire team for their support and collaboration.
Director Buchi Babu Sana described Peddi as a deeply emotional film that will resonate strongly with audiences. He revealed that viewers who attended special preview screenings had showered the film with praise, further strengthening his confidence in its success. Veteran actor Shivarajkumar, who plays a pivotal mentor figure in the film, said the role immediately appealed to him. Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman lauded Ram Charan for creating his own identity beyond the immense legacy of his father, Chiranjeevi.
