Arulnithi and Ameer Join Forces for ‘Vetta Saami’; First Look and Glimpse Released
The first look poster and glimpse of Vetta Saami, an upcoming film featuring Arulnithi and Ameer in pivotal roles, have been released and are creating considerable buzz among moviegoers. Produced by 7 Miles Per Second Productions and written and directed by M. Selvakumar of Bumper fame, the film promises to present a rooted story set against the backdrop of rural life, traditional worship and deep-rooted social issues.
The first look and glimpse were unveiled by popular filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj and actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji.
A Story Rooted in Nellai’s Culture
Set against the cultural landscape of the Nellai region, Vetta Saami revolves around the worship of revered guardian deities such as Sangili Boothathar and Sudalai Madan.
The film explores social issues that have continued across generations, going beyond caste and religious boundaries. Blending action, emotion and social drama, the film aims to portray the lives and struggles of ordinary people in a raw and rooted manner.
Arulnithi’s Intense First Look
The first look poster features Arulnithi in an intense and powerful avatar, seemingly possessed by a divine force and performing a traditional trance-like ritual. His fierce gaze immediately grabs attention.
The backdrop features a grand deity statue along with vibrant folk art performances, establishing the film’s strong rural and spiritual setting.

The glimpse opens with the voice of Villupattu artiste Madhavi before introducing the central characters played by Arulnithi and Ameer against the backdrop of traditional deity worship.

A Character-Driven Narrative

The film features an ensemble cast including Aadukalam Naren, Madhusudhan Rao, Hareesh Peradi, Viji Chandrasekhar, Indhumathi Manikandan, Maina Nandhini, director Thamizh, Kavitha Bharathi, Ayaz Khan, TSK, OAK Sundar and Arjai, among others.

Produced by Samuel Mathew under the banner of 7 Miles Per Second Productions, Vetta Saami has music by Ghibran, cinematography by R.D. Rajasekhar and editing by Ruben. G. Duraikumar serves as the art director, while Siruthai Ganesh has choreographed the action sequences.
The shooting of Vetta Saami has been completed, and the film is currently in its final stages of post-production. With the release of its first look and glimpse generating positive reactions, the Arulnithi-Ameer collaboration has already raised expectations among audiences.
