“We Made ‘Hi’ Because We Believed in the Story” – S. S. Lalit Kumar

Producer S. S. Lalit Kumar thanked the media for their continued support and highlighted the important role played by journalists and media professionals in taking films closer to audiences.

He said that several people had questioned his decision to produce a film like ‘Hi’ after working on bigger projects. However, the makers believed in the story and wanted to present a good, meaningful and entertaining film to audiences.

“The response we are receiving today is extremely satisfying. We made this film with the intention of delivering a good story and a good cinematic experience to the audience,” he said.

Lalit Kumar also recalled his close association with veteran actor Prabhu and spoke warmly about the affection and care he received from him during the shoot.

Praising director Vishnu Edavan, Lalit Kumar said that the filmmaker’s narration itself had left a strong impression on him.

Music composer Jen Martin spoke about his long-standing friendship with Kavin and director Vishnu Edavan.
