பிரம்மாண்ட விலங்கு எலும்புக்கூட்டுக்குள் அமீர்… மாரி செல்வராஜ் வழங்கும் ‘மாகாளி’ படப்பிடிப்பு தொடக்கம்!

சமூகத்தின் அடித்தட்டு மக்களின் வாழ்வியலையும், பேசப்படாத பிரச்சினைகளையும் தனது படைப்புகளின் மூலம் திரையில் அழுத்தமாக பதிவு செய்து வரும் இயக்குநர் மாரி செல்வராஜ், தற்போது புதிய திரைப்படமான ‘மாகாளி’யை வழங்குகிறார். நடிகர் அமீர் முதன்மைக் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கும் இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு பூஜையுடன் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக தொடங்கியுள்ளது.

மாரி செல்வராஜிடம் இணை இயக்குநராக பணியாற்றிய எஸ். பி. அரவிந்த், ‘மாகாளி’ படத்தின் மூலம் இயக்குநராக அறிமுகமாகிறார். படத்தின் கதையையும் அவரே எழுதியுள்ளார். சமூகத்தில் நிலவி வரும் முக்கியமான ஒரு பிரச்சினையை மையமாகக் கொண்டு, வலிமையான கதைக்களத்தில் இப்படம் உருவாகி வருவதாக படக்குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

ஐங்கரன் இண்டர்நேஷனல் நிறுவனத்தின் சார்பில் கே. கருணாமூர்த்தி, நவ்வி ஸ்டுடியோஸ் சார்பில் திவ்யா மாரி செல்வராஜ் மற்றும் மாரி செல்வராஜ் ஆகியோர் இணைந்து இப்படத்தை தயாரிக்கின்றனர்.

‘மாகாளி’ படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு துவங்கியுள்ளதை முன்னிட்டு வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ள முதல் தோற்ற போஸ்டர்கள் ரசிகர்களின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்துள்ளன. ஒரு பிரம்மாண்டமான விலங்கின் எலும்புக்கூட்டுக்குள் நடிகர் அமீர் தனியாக நடந்து செல்லும் காட்சி முதல் போஸ்டரில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது.

மற்றொரு போஸ்டரில், பல்வேறு விலங்குகளின் எலும்புக்கூடுகள் சிதறிக் கிடக்கும் பின்னணியில் ‘மாகாளி’ என்ற படத்தின் தலைப்பு இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. இந்த இரண்டு போஸ்டர்களும் படத்தின் கதைக்களம் இருண்ட மற்றும் ஆழமான பின்னணியில் அமைந்திருப்பதை உணர்த்துகின்றன.

வெறுமை, அழிவு, இயற்கையின் மீதான தாக்கம் மற்றும் சமூகத்தின் மறைக்கப்பட்ட யதார்த்தங்கள் என பல்வேறு அடுக்குகளைக் கொண்ட கதையை இப்படம் பேசக்கூடும் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பையும் இந்த போஸ்டர்கள் ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளன.

அமீருடன் சுவாசிகா, அனிஷ்மா அனில்குமார், ஹரிஹரன், அஸ்வின் ராம் மற்றும் லெனின் பாரதி உள்ளிட்டோர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்கின்றனர்.

படத்தின் தொழில்நுட்பக் குழுவில் ஒளிப்பதிவாளராக செல்வரத்தினம் பிரதீபன் பணியாற்றுகிறார். செல்வா ஆர்.கே. படத்தொகுப்பையும், ஜஸ்டின் பிரபாகரன் இசையையும் கவனிக்கின்றனர்.

ராமு தங்கராஜ் கலை இயக்குநராகவும், திலீப் சுப்பராயன் சண்டைப் பயிற்சியாளராகவும், வர்ஷினி சங்கர் ஆடை வடிவமைப்பாளராகவும் பணியாற்றுகின்றனர். சுரேன் ஜி மற்றும் அழகிய கூத்தன் ஒலி வடிவமைப்பிலும், கபிலன் விளம்பர வடிவமைப்பிலும் பணியாற்றுகின்றனர்.

மேலும், ஜெய்குமார் வைரவன் நிழற்படக் கலைஞராகவும், நாகேந்திரன் ஒப்பனைக் கலைஞராகவும் இணைந்துள்ளனர். வெங்கட் ஆறுமுகம் நிர்வாகத் தயாரிப்பாளராகவும், சதிஷ் மக்கள் தொடர்பு அதிகாரியாகவும் பணியாற்றுகின்றனர்.

மனித வாழ்க்கையின் வலி, இயற்கை மற்றும் சமூக யதார்த்தங்களை மையமாகக் கொண்ட அழுத்தமான படைப்பாக உருவாகும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படும் ‘மாகாளி’ படத்தின் அடுத்தடுத்த அறிவிப்புகள் விரைவில் வெளியாகும் என படக்குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

Ameer Walks Through a Giant Skeleton in First Look; Mari Selvaraj Presents ‘Maakaali’

Filmmaker Mari Selvaraj, known for backing stories with a strong social conscience and distinctive storytelling, is now presenting a new film titled Maakaali. The shooting of the film, starring actor Ameer in the lead role, has officially commenced with a traditional pooja ceremony.

The film is written and directed by S. P. Aravind, who previously worked as an associate director with Mari Selvaraj. Maakaali is said to explore an important social issue through a powerful and hard-hitting narrative.

The film is jointly produced by K. Karunamoorthy under the banner of Ayngaran International, along with Divya Mari Selvaraj and Mari Selvaraj under Navvi Studios.

The makers have also unveiled the first-look posters of Maakaali, generating curiosity among audiences. One poster features Ameer walking alone inside the skeleton of a gigantic animal, creating a striking and haunting visual.

Another poster features the title Maakaali surrounded by scattered animal skeletons. The visuals hint at the film’s dark and intense backdrop, suggesting themes of emptiness, destruction, the suffering of nature and hidden realities within society.

The intriguing posters have further raised expectations around the film and its unconventional storyline.

Apart from Ameer, the film also features Swasika, Anishma Anilkumar, Hariharan, Ashwin Ram and Lenin Bharathi in important roles.

Selvarathinam Pratheepan is handling the cinematography, while Selva RK is in charge of editing. Justin Prabhakaran has been roped in as the music composer.

The technical crew also includes Ramu Thangaraj as the art director, Dileep Subbarayan as the stunt choreographer and Varshini Shankar as the costume designer. Suresh G and Azhagiya Koothan are handling sound design, while Kapilan is in charge of publicity design.

Jayakumar Vairavan is the still photographer and Nagendran is handling makeup. Venkat Aarumugam serves as the executive producer, while Sathish is the film’s public relations officer.

With its striking visuals and socially relevant premise, Maakaali is shaping up to be an intense and thought-provoking cinematic experience. Further details regarding the film are expected to be announced soon.
