India’s Pop rising voice Maan Panu drops ‘I Met Her Again’, a soulful ode to moving on and finding yourself
Mumbai, September 30th, 2026: Some chapters don’t end with a final goodbye, they quietly become memories, carrying traces of what once was. Emerging as one of the promising voices in India’s indie pop scene, singer-songwriter Maan Panu has carved a space for himself with his soulful vocals, intimate songwriting and emotionally honest storytelling. With his latest release ‘I Met Her Again’, Maan turns inward to explore what it means to move past heartbreak, let go of what was left unsaid, and slowly find your way back to yourself.
‘I Met Her Again’ begins in the space of things left unsaid and the ache of watching someone walk away, before gradually transforming into a story of acceptance and healing. The song captures the point where the narrator no longer searches for the person or their validation, finding instead a sense of comfort in his own world, his writing and the little moments around him. While nostalgia remains, the track ultimately celebrates the feeling of becoming lighter, stronger and comfortable in your own company.
Speaking about the song, Maan Panu said, “‘I Met Her Again’ is about that point where you realise you’ve started finding yourself again. After heartbreak, there’s a phase where you stop looking for answers and slowly learn to be okay with your own company. There’s still a little nostalgia for what once was, but it doesn’t hurt in the same way anymore. For me, the song is really about making peace with the past and finding comfort in who you are now.”
The accompanying music video complements the song’s introspective narrative through earthy, cinematic visuals set against the raw beauty of the mountains. The lived-in visual language mirrors the song’s nostalgia while creating a sense of quiet freedom and emotional release.
With ‘I Met Her Again’, Maan continues to build on his distinctive space between indie, acoustic pop and contemporary Hindi songwriting. His catalogue, which includes ‘I’m Done’, ‘Main Bezubaan’, ‘Barkha’ and ‘The Last Letter’, reflects his ability to translate intimate experiences of love, heartbreak and self-discovery into songs that feel deeply personal yet universally relatable.
