Sehwag Walks Out, but the Showdown Isn’t Over! Gautam and Manish’s Feud Reaches Boiling Point on Rise and Fall Season 2
Mumbai, India, 28th October 2026: In the Tower, reunions may restore spirits, but the game has little room for sentiment! After two days with their loved ones, the Rulers return to the Red Room, only to discover that their fortunes are about to take a sharp turn. Sonam, Jashwanth, Rishabh and Manish, the four Rulers repeatedly featuring in the bottom four of the rankings, are nominated for a potential fall.
Ultimate Ruler Gautam Gulati must name someone he wishes to save, as Manish refuses to pitch for his place, declaring, “Mere jiwan ka sabse kharab din hoga jis din mein Gautam Gualti ke saamne bethke mein aapne aapko pitch karunga ke mujhe bacha lo… poore tower mein upar neeche sabse galat game yehi khelte.” Gautam brushes off his remark as a joke, but Manish isn’t laughing, calling out his repeated disregard for boundaries. With Priyanka and Niharika backing Manish, the clash quickly turns into a Tower-wide showdown! When Manish demands that Gautam stop abusing him, Gautam fires back, “Saala koi gaali hoti hai?”, prompting Manish to hit back, “Tumhare liye nahi gaali hoti hogi humare yaha saala pe goli chal jaata hai, hum bihar se aate hai waha par goli maar dete hai..” With accusations of threats flying and tempers reaching a fever pitch, Gautam’s final call sends Manish to the Basement, bringing the Son of the Basement right back to his roots!
But the Tower has another fall in store. With Sonam, Jashwanth and Rishabh left in the reckoning, safe Rulers Niharika and Sonam must decide who goes downstairs next. In a twist of fate, Sonam chooses herself, sending both her and Manish back to the Basement just as they had begun climbing their way up. Niharika, meanwhile, questions Rishabh’s support for Gautam, hinting that a game plan is one thing, but misplaced loyalties could cost far more. With tensions running high, host Virender Sehwag arrives for Power Play, only to find the feud far from settled. As Manish and Gautam trade accusations once again, Sehwag’s attempts to get to the bottom of the dispute are swallowed by another explosive round of arguments. The confrontation grows so unruly that Sehwag finally walks out, leaving the warring contestants to continue their face-off even in his absence. When he returns, his displeasure is unmistakable as he calls out the threats and language being thrown around. Drawing from his roots in Najafgarh, Sehwag points out that he has never used his background to intimidate anyone. He also shares a personal anecdote, recalling his 1999 debut against Shoaib Akhtar and his eventual 309-run knock, reinforcing his belief in letting performance speak louder than provocation.
And just when one feud threatens to steal the spotlight, an unexpected show of solidarity changes the script. Asked about Irina’s friend Samyukta questioning the authenticity of his friendship with Swara, Shehzad stands up for Swara, a striking full-circle moment for two contestants whose journey began in rivalry but has now brought them to each other’s defence. The truce, however, is short-lived as Irina accuses Shehzad of harbouring hatred, sparking another confrontation that Sehwag calls out for its misrepresentation of events. Amid the clashes, he congratulates Niharika for keeping her promise and pulling off the Takhta Palat. While the former Rulers maintain that they did not interfere in the task, the new Rulers insist their victory was hard-earned. With alliances under scrutiny and the next moves already being plotted, will loyalty help the Tower’s players stay standing, or is another fall just around the corner?
